Customers are saying

Customers admire the Yoga 2's long battery life, ease of use, light weight, and compact size, frequently praising its convenient design and helpful kickstand. However, the keyboard's magnetic attachment and the lack of a full-sized USB port are common points of concern. Some users also found the limited storage capacity and the somewhat awkward stand to be drawbacks.

I was skeptical at first when purchasing this as i was going to use it for my college classes instead of my big ol 17" laptop. In short, I'm very glad I got this. +This isn't a beast spec wise, but it does get the job done. I primarily used this for typing up notes during class, browsing social media sites and watching videos. All run without a hitch, I suggest browsing on Internet Explorer, though. It honestly isn't bad. Also, I suggest buying an micro SD card as you'll get around half of the 32GB storage. +The screen is really nice. The resolution is pretty high for it's class. All the other laptops and tablets around this price point would sport around a 1366x768 resolution while this does 1920 x 1200! The viewing angles are pretty good as well. +The battery life is fantastic. I charge it at night and unplug around 8AM and by the time my day ends, which is around 7PM, I have AT LEAST 50% left on my battery. The reason for this good battery life is the large cylindrical object that rests on the bottom of the tablet. (Hence the bulge) +The build quality of the tablet itself is great. It does not feel cheap at all. It weights around 1-2 pounds so carrying it around won't be much of a hassle. I sometimes walk around campus just holding it between my classes. The kickstand helps position it in so many ways. Very help/useful. -The only negative, which really isn't much, is a nagging issue of the keyboard losing bluetooth signal on several occasions. I've had this tablet for a month now and after a few days, I've noticed it disconnect, so when I reinstalled the drivers for the keyboard, it seemed to do the trick for about a few days. I'm not entirely sure it's a defect, it may be that the keyboard just times out too fast. It usually re-connects after the initial disconnect. Also, the keyboard is the tablet's cover and does a pretty good job at it. I forgot to mention that Lenovo includes a year's worth of Microsoft Office 365 for free and that's a pretty cool thing. Don't expect to be able to put this on your lap while your keyboard is attached while it's only held together by magnets. Also, there is a lack of a full sized USB port so I suggest you buy a micro-USB to USB adapter or OTG adapter to actually use full size USB accessories.

Nothing fancy, made this purchase for my mom who is a Windows user. It took some getting used to for her to become accustomed to the touch screen aspect. Overall I think she likes it.......although would've preferred an iPad. First World Problems! LOL

Had less than 10 hours of use and the hard drive completely crashed. Could not even get it to turn on. Would not recommend this product. Best Buy was great allowing me to exchange even though I was a couple of weeks outside the "allowable" trial period.

I bought this for my wife. For all intents and purposes, it looks, feels, functions as a computer with the bluetooth keyboard. Typing with this keyboard is quite fine.

I was expecting this item to act more like a small version of a pc. If that is why you are purchasing this item you will be disappointed. I've been told that this is a pretty good tablet for a beginner

    Poor Windows Tablet/Keyboard

I have a Yoga Tablet 8 (Android) that I like a lot so I thought that a Windows 10" version would work out fine for me. The tablet and keyboard should work fine for using Quicken 2015 and replace my five year old 23" touchsmart All-in-One for that purpose. The tablet has a very good high resolution wide-angle viewing IPS screen that is very bright and responsive. The keyboard is magnetically attached and connects through Bluetooth. It connected fine for me, but many people have problems with keeping their Bluetooth keyboards connected. The magnets are strong, but you still have to be careful or the keyboard will fall off. Unlike a regular laptop, there is no support for the screen position. You have to flip out the stand to keep the screen supported. And the stand is harder to open than on my Yoga 8. I have two portable USB powered drives - one 1 TB hard drive and a CD/DVD optical drive that I have used on all of my Chromebooks and most of my Android tablets. So I went about trying to install Quicken 2015 on the Yoga 2. The tablet would not recognize either device with a micro OTG adapter in the micro USB port. It would work with Flash Drives and a mouse and keyboard, but not the portable USB powered drives. I bought a "Y" adapter to supply USB power to the drives and got the Hard Drive to work but not the CD/DVD drive. Most current Windows programs can be obtained over the Internet, but I still have a number of older programs on DVD's that I wanted to try on a newer computer. The inability to use a USB powered CD/DVD drive on a Windows computer was a deal breaker for me. I returned the Yoga 2.

Already sent back to the manufacturer because it won't charge after barely being used for only two days. This is not what I expected and I would not recommend to anyone.

Bought this as a replacement for my wife's aging netbook and have not been disappointed. Short review version - This is a great tablet PC for those that want to be in the windows experience, but just need surfing & light productivity capabilities. Pros: - Fantastic battery life; typically getting 2 days use per charge - Kick stand is easy to use and allows for ease of placement around the house - Very lightweight - Great pixel density for the screen size - Plenty of display room for screen and on-screen keyboard Neutral: - Included keyboard feels a bit flimsy and doesn't play nice with much distance from the tablet unit - Dimming function was an annoyance but that can be turned off Cons: - Will not handle any gaming or heavier program loads - Only uses micro USB with one slot used for charging or other USB functions - Anyone switching from the non-8.0 Windows environments may find the change jarring
