Customers are saying

Customers admire the Yoga 2's long battery life, ease of use, light weight, and compact size, frequently praising its convenient design and helpful kickstand. However, the keyboard's magnetic attachment and the lack of a full-sized USB port are common points of concern. Some users also found the limited storage capacity and the somewhat awkward stand to be drawbacks.

I'm not comfortable with the handle and the metal is very slippery. The keyboard is nice and it's included but this connects only magnetically. Rear camera is awkwardly positioned. It lags and not responsive so I will return it and see what else to try.

A little background. I previously owned an iPad, iPad 2, and a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.0 7". I currently own a Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2". I decided to purchase the Lenovo Yoga 2 10.1" because even though I love my Note Pro 12.2", it just way too big. PROS +Shape - With most (basically all) tablets, regardless of size, I find one common element...they become uncomfortable to hold for any length of time. The cylindrical battery tube of the Lenovo Yoga 2 makes holding this tablet in portrait mode much more comfortable for lengthy use. +Kickstand - HUGE bonus. The kickstand is very well made and can be adjusted to many positions. I haven't tried hanging my tablet on the wall, but admittedly, it's a great feature to have available. +Battery Life - 15 hours of battery life makes this a truly portable device for extended periods away from an outlet. +Display - The high resolution, IPS display is very pleasing to the eyes and can be viewed from a wide angle. +Keyboard - The included keyboard makes this a great laptop alternative. The keyboard includes a trackpad. While some people have complained about the keyboard, I really like it. The magnets are very strong and I find it very easy to attach/detach it from the tablet. When attached, it provides good protection for the screen. CON -Lack of AnyPen/Wacom technology - Even though my Galaxy Note Pro has the S Pen, I rarely use it or find much value in it. However, many others really enjoy having a tablet that is compatible with a quality stylus... especially if you plan on using programs such as OneNote.

I bought the Yoga in hopes of using it when I traveled and went for treatments. It was difficult to use as a laptop and inconvenient to use as a tablet. Then it just died.

I bought mine refurbished from Lenovo. It's not perfect in that the touch screen does get some getting used to. You have to be precise with the touch at times for it to respond. It's not really meant to increase productivity. The physical keyboard is too tiny and the keys are too scrunched together for comfortable typing and it's easy to mistype. I am trying to get used to the virtual keyboard but it either takes too much space on the screen or type with just a few fingers rather than using 2 hands which can be slow. I do like a few things about the tablet however. It does have good resolution, 1920x1200. It does have a rather long battery life (at least in my experience). I take it on business trips with me to watch movies, read ebooks or listen to music. After a 4 hour flight I still have about 50% of battery life left. The audio on the tablet is awesome. When I am at home and I watch youtube on it and I do not need external speakers. This is my first tablet that I owned so I cannot compare it to any other tablets and not sure if it deserves more than 3 stars. Lastly I upgraded to Windows 10 and so far it's my perception that it was working better before the upgrade.

Worked well for around 18 months but something is up with the power source. Regardless of power cord, the unit does not charge. Took it to the Best Buy store from which I purchased it - and their advice was to contact Lenovo. Had zero luck getting any response from them. I now have a $300 paperweight on my desk.

For the price, this is a very capable tablet with a GORGEOUS screen. I can carry this little guy around and get most of my work done. Negatives: The metal stand is a little sharp and not cushioned. It scrapes whatever surface it's on. Also, the included keyboard is nice in a pinch, but the type and touchpad feel isn't great and the magnetic connection is flimsy. Try as I might, I can't see myself using it as a keyboard/cover.

Great Windows 8.1 tablet for the price!

First came across this tablet while browsing the ad and started comparing it to other tablets around it's price range. The current price at the time was $299.99 and had plenty of other Windows 8.1 tablets to compare it to. Seeing how I've been wanting a Surface Pro for the longest, the price made this tablet even more intriguing. I have put this tablet through it's paces and has handled every task I have thrown at it. The 2 GB of RAM is sufficient enough to handle everyday tasks as well as some minor photo editing (Adobe Lightroom). The quad core processor, even if it is a Intel Atom, can handle all the multitasking I could want whether it's running multiple desktop apps at once or splitting the screen to run Windows 8 apps and desktop apps side by side. The kickstand is a great feature with one inconvenience, it can't sit in your lap like a laptop. The battery life is amazing at 15 hours rated, micro USB port for charging is great seeing how everything now uses MicroUSB and also the port doubles as a full USB when you combine it with an OTG cable #I personally use the Samsung cable). Screen brightness, resolution is of the up most quality. Really great tablet for the price. Buy one and try it out!

Great little 2in1 unit, runs windows well. Minir issues with widows functionality, but thats not Lenovo's fault. Maybe windows 10 will be better. The keyboard is kind of weird, not a fan of the mousepad because the clickers also move the mouse. I bought an SD card to store all of my files, I recommend anyone do this as well. 32gb isnt all that much for storage.

The screen is nice and bright, the colors are true, it includes a keyboard (and can be used with or without the keyboard), and has a cool feature no other Windows tablet has: the included kickstand means you can prop the tablet up at any angle, comfortably hold it in one hand for extended reading or even, hang it on a hook for following along in a recipe or exercise video.

This is a great multimedia tablet with a 1920x1200 resolution on a 10.1" IPS display, detachable keyboard, built-in kickstand and an amazing battery life of up to 15 hours! Check out my video review on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wv9n1WQVF4A

This hits the sweet spot between being a tablet and a laptop. Same size and weight as most tablets, but it runs full windows 8.1 and comes with a keyboard and mouse. There are so many advantages to this over most tablets, It can handle full windows programs, amazing (15hour) battery life, great keyboard (for a tablet) amazing screen, and because it's not really a tablet like iPad or android, you will get the full websites, not the mobile sites. I had the Yoga 2 11.6 and I hated it, I returned it within a week, so I was very skeptical about this, but I can't say enough good things about it.

not bad for the price. only thing i would change is a bigger hard drive. turning on for the first time the operating system takes up some space from 32GBs down to 21GB. after installing anti virus and the full suite of MS office 2013 down it down to 16GBs. i know i could just use office 365 but why not put the full suite on this thing. installed no more than 7 apps from the windows store and dropped it down to 12GBs. i would only use this for editing and accessing files and media from the cloud. but the screen is nice. very sharp. apps and the desktop loads quick. boot up time is fast. the stand comes in handy alot. speakers sound good. keyboard can be alittle tricky to understand (connecting bluetooth and typing) but does the job at hand to get things done. i really like this device. i could see using this to carry around instead of my 8lb laptop

This tablet is actually quite good overall. I was impressed by the build quality and the ease of use right out of the box. What I didn't like was: 1. Having to charge both the device and keyboard 2. Keyboard does not stay in place--can lead to drops if you're used to keyboards that attach magnetically 3. The tablet had a issue charging right out the box. It only charged when it felt like it. This is apparently a common problem with some Windows 8 devices 4. The touchpad on the keyboard is terrible--almost as bad as the original touch cover for the Surface 5. Despite the higher resolution, the display was not better than the Surface 2 imo I do think that if you get one that works perfectly out of the box, it might be worth trying out. It just wasn't for me. I returned it a couple days later and went to the Microsoft store to pick up one of the last remaining Surface 2 for $269. Windows RT is a much better experience imo...I don't care for desktop applications however.
