Windows 8 is made for some kind of touch-screen. This 2 in 1 works great, its slightly heavy for a touchscreen but very thin and light for a laptop, Best of both worlds,

My wife loves her new Yoga 2

Her previous laptop was a typical 5.5lb 14" screen and she was tired of lugging it around. The Yoga is fast and easy to use w/ Win 8 touch screen UI or typical mouse pad. Good battery run time.

Great flexible laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After scouring the market for an affordable hybrid laptop/tablet, I was blown away that this Lenovo had similar features to its more expensive cousins for a fraction of the price. The Yoga hinge is great, and when its not being used as a tablet, its a fairly decent laptop with a good keyboard. Once you get used to Windows 8.1 in tablet mode and using native apps, you develop a new respect for that functionality. Batter life runs about 5 hrs on average. Wi-Fi could be improved by adding Dual band Wireless-N, but it seems to work OK as is.

The ease, efficiency and speed of the Lenovo exceeds all my expectations. In fact, it has taken the place of my Apple IPad!

good for a windows computer

About an hour after i removed it from the box and set it all up, I wanted to return it due to its slow performance, but after a few updates I was thoroughly surprised with the performance. Even though it is a windows pc, I will be keeping it.
