Customers are saying

Customers highly value the Yoga 2 2-in-1 laptop for its lightweight design, responsive touch screen, and fast performance. Many users appreciate the excellent battery life and affordable price point. However, some customers have expressed dissatisfaction with the limited storage capacity, subpar speakers, and pre-installed bloatware.

Disappointed with the overall memory space.

I really do like this computer. Great battery life, love the portability, I have come to love windows 8, and the 360 swivel screen is pretty neat. Unfortunately the speakers are pretty weak and hard to hear sometimes. What I was most disappointed with was the minuscule memory on the computer. It claims to be 128 GB (which was more than adequate for my computer needs), but when the computer was all set up it turned out to only be about 70 GB (and that is after I deleted all the bloat ware). When paying nearly $1k for a computer I expect to not be shorted nearly 60 GB of memory (45% less memory than what I paid for and expected to have) on an already small hard drive. I was extremely disappointed that Best Buy staff did not make me aware of this when I was talking to them about different computers. After I bought the laptop geek squad gave me the argument that the idea now is for most of my files to be stored on the cloud. Had I known previously about the lack of memory space compared to what was advertised, I would not have bought the computer.

Works well in both tablet and laptop mode. Is very user friendly with a comfortable keyboard. The computer is very fast and has an excellent touch screen.

I'm thoroughly impressed with this device. The only thing I don't like is the quality of the webcam, but I hardly use it so I suppose that's not that big of a deal. This is a really good buy that I would recommend to pretty much anyone needing a tablet,or laptop. I really like to call mine a "lablet", that's way more fun to say than 2in1.

This computer is fast on start-up and during every operation I have performed since my purchase. It has met my expectations. I was apprehensive about the solid state hard-drive being able to manage the tasks of the conventional hard-drives, but this machine handles everything I can throw at it during a day.

Was in need of a new laptop. Decided to go with the Lenovo yoga and I'm not disappointed. Love all the features and having a touch pad is an extra bonus!

I purchased one for my daughter who's in college and one for myself. She absolutely loves it. It's light and versatile which makes it easy for her to take to her classes. She likes the touch screen capabilities as well as the various positions you can put the computer in which makes it perfect for watching movies, reading or just studying. Very pleased with our purchase.

I love my laptop. It is very easy to take with me to class or to just flip it into tent mode and watch tv shows on in. I don't have anything negative about this product to say. I have had it for almost a month and I have stopped using my tablet as much. Since this can turn into a tablet mode I don't need my tablet as much.

I have had my eyes on the surface 3 after being somewhat pleased with the surface 1 pro. I found this Yoga as an open box item and figured it was worth the discount. With 8 gigs of ram this laptop is fast enough to get everything done. The hard drive space is a little small but I expect a lot because I have tons of media. Not Lenovo fault though. I was also surprised that the SD card didn't go all the way in. So using that port for addition space is out of the question. I'm instead using a cruse USB drive for extra space. I am very pleased with this laptop and like the texture of the keyboard side when in "tablet" mode. Good buy as an open item. Might think slightly different if I would have paid full price.

Purchased as a refurbished PC, delivered like new, performs as promised. Love portability, backlit keyboard, ease of use. My wife has smaller iPad, I prefer larger screen, ability to load programs and to use mouse. Takes some experimentation to get used to Windows 8.1, chose Libre Office freeware in lieu of Microsoft Office. 99% of capabilities at no cost.

It is the perfect size. it folds to become a tablet when needed. the touch screen works great. It is easy to use. turns on quickly. no fan noise. The only con's would be due to windows 8. There are a few installed apps that stop working after a few weeks (like google calendar) and it does freeze sometimes, but I do not blame those issues on the computer.

    Replacement for 1st Yoga

Purchased to replace 16 month old Yoga purchased for college freshman son. 1st machine power supply went south middle of 1st semester Soph year. Was out of warranty so had to purchase new laptop since repair cost was about 60% of new purchase with no guarantee from BB that it would fix problem. Son really liked Yoga so took a chance on second unit. Challenge is he's 1000 miles away and now has crapware security issue that needs to be removed. I'll do this next time he visits. Last 17 years all laptops purchased were Compaq/HP models (at least 15 laptops for family) but fed up with increasing volume of crapware on each new purchase and wavering commitment to Windows by HP so tried Lenova. Good physical build, nice keyboard, and screen. Hoping power supply issue isn't design flaw. HPs were rock solid, and few problems that we did have HP stood behind the units. If this one fails in a year or two I'll be back to HP. Guess I need to buy 'signature' versions of laptops at Microsoft Store to avoid time suck in cleaning up new laptops. Or may consider a Mac with Windows boot option.

I was uneasy about getting this laptop because I hadn't heard anything about Lenovo. But, I am pleasantly surprised! It's lightweight, super portable, a powerful machine, and surprisingly good battery life (considering an i5 processor)! For the price, it's a great machine.

I have had this laptop for about 6 months now and it has been a great replacement of an older system. It is quick and meets all my requirements for a general purpose laptop. My only cons are it is a little heavy and the battery could last longer.

We use the Yoga for all sorts of things. We wanted a new laptop to replace our 7 y.o. HP. My wife wanted a 2-in-1 so that she could use it in the kitchen for recipes as well as a primary device for email and web browsing. The Yoga is fast and works great. We haven't had any problems so far.
