First laptop, like the lighted keyboard.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the lighted keyboard and the larger keys. I'm getting used to having a laptop and am finding the convenience of being able to take it with me is very nice. This is a great laptop. My daughter in law needed a new one and did a lot of research and determined this was the best one so I got it too.

screen and mouse pad veerrry touchy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yoga transform features very convenient, lightweight and Win 8.1 amazing...haven't used a laptop/touch pad before. No problem. Keyboard size slightly small; a little cumbersome. Touchscreen and touch pad too touchy (this may be necessary to the ability to move about so quickly and anything less might be inconvenient). Resolution not approved for earth viewing apps. Could use better sound. Overall...I would purchase the iCore 7 if possible for the extra memory. Having used it, I would never purchase a laptop without touchscreen or yoga transform features. Be careful, I was given an "open box" when purchasing new. Backlight doesn't work. I don't expect a problem getting a satisfactory solution.

Excellent Ultrabook
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far it has been an excellent ultrabook. Lightweight, fast, thin, full functioning computer with an outstanding display. The 13.3 inch display is perfect for productivity using Microsoft Office 2010. The sensitive touchpad was easier to get used to than I thought. I have used the 4 "modes" regularily: laptop for productivity, tent for consumption at a table/counter, flipped with keyboard on the bottom for consumption in a chair, and tablet for viewing photo's. The backlight keyboard is a must, batterylife seems adequate.

Great Power and Weight but....
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: Perfect size and weight and stong enough for all the day to day uses I have for it. Love the fast boot up (thanks to that M.2 SSD) Cons: The screen has some slight blurring effect going on. Makes reading text a little annoying sometimes. The power button is on the side and sticks out a little so its easy to accidentally hit and put to sleep. If you want to upgrade the storage space you will either need to rgo through the annoying process of replacing the 128 GB M.2 SSD with a 256 GB (or 512 GB which are hard to find and im not sure they are supported) or add a hard drive but it need to be this new weird 5mm hdd (there are no ssd in the form factor yet :-\ )

Good Laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The hardware itself if built very well and is better than any Dell or HP that I have bought. The Lenovo software is very annoying and I spent probably 2 hours trying to uninstall the applications that they preinstalled. Their Nitro PDF and the Lenovo App Suggestions were particularly poor.

Love this laptop!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This 2in1 starts up and shuts down extremely quick and everything I need runs well on it. The only complaint I have is the touchpad is extra sensitive and I tend to drag items around on accident or click on things I didn't want to. I'll get used to it! It also doesn't have a regular size HDMI plug so I'll have to buy a converter in order to hook it up to a projector when giving presentations.

I love this laptop!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love this yoga 2! It's fast, has a very nice screen, and the 360 flip makes it convenient in all situations. I showed my best friend and he liked it so much, he bought one too. I wish I would have gotten one with a bigger ssd drive. Other than that, no complaints!

Ok but a few quirks
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My last PC held up for a very long time but was showing age, so having a fully functioning machine is always a pleasure. I was looking for something easily portable for homeschooling purposes but not so small that I couldn't actually function on it. The little netbooks already proved to be way too small for me. PRO - love the size of the screen; touchscreen responds well; I like the folding option, though I'm not inclined to use it (I prefer a classic laptop setup with occasional use of the touchscreen) CON - thelaptop is still 1" wider than the screen. That also means that the keyboard panel is much larger than the actual keyboard, so there's a lot of wasted space there. While it's generaly lightweight, I think it's heavier than it needs to be. It's certainly heavier than it looks and I think competitors probably have it beat on this aspect. PROBLEMS: the biggest problem I've faced is with the touchpad. Not only is it poorly placed (rather than being centered between G and H as they are supposed to be, it is centered between H & J which causes the thumb pad of your palm to constantly sweep against it and move the cursor WHILE you're typing). I tried changing the setting on sensitivity but it's still problematic. I turned it off, but then it's a pain to turn it back on everytime you want/need to use it. Also, the touchpad is WAY too sensitive. Often (at least 3 times a session) the mere use of the touchpad causes the entire screen to change sizes. IE, having two fingers operating and the pad reacts incorrectly changes the font size. Easy to fix, but terribly frustrating. Lastly, when used in a tablet setup, the touch keyboard doesn't automatically appear, you must select that option. Additionally, when you do select it, it takes up almost half the screen! It completely blocks everything else on the "page". Not necessarily a problem as you're just typing in one field then moving on, but that's not always the case. Closing it is easy, but you may end up opening, closing, opeing, closing, opening, closing, just to ensure you're filling out a form properly. Again, very frustrating.

Really a good laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been using this for about a month and I'm really satisfied. It is a full function PC with excellent start-up and battery life. Wish it had a full size HDMI port, but there is a mini port that a simple adapter will fix. I considered getting a tablet, but after using this in tablet mode and laptop mode, I really prefer a laptop. This one does both pretty well

like the ability to use like a laptop or a notepad
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was just looking at laptops but my Best Buy salesman was able to answer all my questions and was able to describe the hugh advantages of buying the lenova. I did further research to verify his comments and decided to go ahead and buy. Very happy. I just wish I got a MS office package.
