Great laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros. Light, responsive, highly usable, pretty quick. Cons. MS Office outlook doesn't play well, needs lots of problem solving to fix silly issues like the transition from laptop to tablet mode etc. speakers are a little weak.

No point
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do not waste your money. It is slow. If it were $300 or less, it would be worth it. Get the 2 11 with the Pentium N3540 and buy a Samsung EVO 850 500 GB SSD and you'll have spent less and have a very fast, very good laptop. That goes for everything priced higher than the Yoga 2 11. Believe me, I tried them all.

Not good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought my Yoga -3 with a lot of high expectations. Unfortunately, it has not lived up to it. The screen flickers so much that even writing this review is an issue. Check for the flickers before buying.

Could not get it to stay connected to internet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loved the product in theory but must have received a lemon, could never get it to stay connected to Internet. I spent hours with Lenovo support but could not fix the problem. I took it back and exchanged for an Apple and it works perfectly!

Ideal form - disappointment starts when turn it on
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Yoga 3 11 inch is simply the ideal form factor for a 2 in 1. Light weight, solid feeling build, excellent screen and keyboard size - perfect and Apple-like in coolness. The disappointment starts when you turn it on. The processor is slow and machine response suffers despite the 8 GB of RAM. When doing basic office tasks like Excel, PPT, and web-based apps, the system pauses from time-to-time. Battery life is roughly 5-6 hours which is barely OK. It lacks a back lit keyboard and relies on the basic touch screen as opposed to a digitizer that allows and active stylus or even a passive one that gets better precision. Machine goes to sleep for no reason – I have all my settings for power management set to stay on when plugged in no matter what and still it went to sleep. I updated the BIOS and several apps/drivers that were newer and nothing changed. I was looking to upgrade my Yoga 2 11 inch to improve on its meager 4GB of RAM, poor wifi and battery life, and low resolution screen. I this thing were priced at $500 like my original Yoga, I'd keep it. But at $850 and another $250 for a 512 GB M.2 SSD to upgrade storage, it is too pricey for its shortcomings. It goes back to BBY today (2 week trial ends). Let’s hope someone takes this design and gives it the power it deserves along with lit keys and a screen that can handle an active stylus.
