tl;dr: I'm relatively happy with my purchase, but if your CAN wait, then I recommend waiting for something better. If your need is urgent, then please read on to know what you're getting yourself into... This is a difficult one to review. I bought two lemon refurbs from Geek Squad, both of which I returned (first one for screen burn, second one was received without a hard drive). This one was my third and last try with the Yoga, only because my friend loves his Lenovo. Here are my caveats that you should be aware of, and the reasons for my low rating. - Windows 8 has some good points, but is mostly terrible. I'm a Windows 10 Insider and I highly recommend upgrading to that when it is released later this year. The upgrade will be free for one year for Windows 7/8 users. - If you have limited technical expertise, I would tend to recommend against this laptop because there are just too many issues to overcome before it's really usable. Yoga 3 Pro might be better; I couldn't say. - Overloaded with tons of bloatware that Lenovo has somehow idiotically convinced themselves is in the best interest of the user but actually slows the device down drastically, particularly all the excessive startup services and the like. - Very small hard drive (128GB SSD in my model); another reason to uninstall as much bloatware as possible and leverage cloud storage services (IaaS) and apps (SaaS) to the fullest. - A substantially sub-par i5-5200u processor. My nearly 3-year old i5-3570 in my desktop PC is at least twice the power of this new processor. If power is important to you, you might consider other options. However, if battery life is a higher priority, this laptop may serve you well. - Most other issues are related to Windows 8 and not the hardware. That said, the hardware is still pretty decent and I'm relatively happy with my purchase. Fortunately, when I need processing power, I can always remote (RDP) into my desktop, and I can store all my important files on my network drive so I don't have to use up any more space on the very small SSD than needed. I definitely love the touch screen, backlit keyboard, and the hinge, and those are probably the main reasons I was determined to make this device work for me. == Screen Dimming Fix == There is an obnoxious screen dimming issue that is on by default straight out of the box. This is driven by the ambient light in your room and is detected by a small sensor just to the left of your webcam. The app responsible for the dimming is another bloatware from Lenovo called "Lenovo Paper Display." You will find the setting to disable this feature in the "Lenovo Settings" app.

Bought this laptop as open item 3 months ago and it has been flawless since.

I would give it a 5 but it froze a few times in the first week of use.

Very sleek and easy to use. Works very well as a laptop and a tablet.

Love the flexibility...having small issues, but could be due to apps

Purchased this to replace my old laptop from college. Best thing I ever did. I have had it for 6 months now and I have not had any issues or experienced any slowness.

I've never used or purchased this brand previously, but now after owning & using this computer for a few months - I don't think I will ever go back. By far the most smooth & easy-to-use laptop I have owned. Runs great, has a decent battery life, and it is very easy to navigate - Even if you're not necessarily "tech savvy." The touchscreen works in both tablet mode & regular, everyday laptop mode as well. Overall, great laptop & I have no complaints.

I've had a variety of laptops over the years and by far my Lenova Yoga 3 is my favorite laptop. I really enjoy the textured skin and the fast startup!!

On paper the device looks good, it should be able ro handle simple tasks like running a light microsoft word document and browsing the web. but that didnt quiet work it kept freezing for 15-20 seconds to process tasks, my 8 years old laptop preformed better. Lots of bloatware too. I ended up returning it to bestbuy.

I needed this for my college classes, it works decent , the wifi I often have to turn on and off repeatedly for it to connect but other than that it does what I need it to do

I love the Yoga. Its fast, user friendly and compact. I love that it folds back to tablet mode. AND I'm an apple person! Great job lenovo

Great screen and performance. The folding screen is great. Little heavy for extended use as a tablet but that doesn't impact my rating.

I Like the 180 degree screen and the Lazer satellite configurator with duall stage Flux compasitor

Had to have a Windows PC for running certain software. Bought these as the use of the tablet would come in handy, but screen visibility is not as good as I hoped.

The laptop is better than expected. It boots in 2 seconds and Windows 8 is actually nice with the responsive touch screen. I love the features. Amazing value. I may buy another.
