Good laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a new laptop, went to Best Buy and saw this open box, thought hey let's try it. Use it as a laptop or tablet it works really wel. Mouse pad is someone sensitive but other than that great all around.

Does not charge
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very excite about this laptop. The specs looked great and were a great replacement for my desktop, which had just died. I had the laptop 3 days. Went to charge it and nothing happened. No lights came on, no sounds, no indication whatsoever that it was being charged. I decided to leave it plugged in overnight. It was new and I knew nothing about it personally. Took it off the charger in the morning and took it to work with me. Opened it to show it to a coworker and the laptop was dead. So, yeah the laptop looks and sounds great but if you can't charge it, you can't use it. Very bad design.

Super Fast, Ultralight
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the flip capabilities, got as alternate to Surface. Thin and light traded for bad battery life, have had to find work around for no CD drive.

Horrible Quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased this unit 12/4/2015 as a Geek Squad Certified product. We have sent it in three time so far as the physical keyboard stops working. We have separate insurance on this through our cell phone company and would not pay the exorbitant rates Geek wanted to charge us. I would never buy a Geek Squad certified unit again.

Glitchy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this for my daughter and had a hard drive error that made it seem like the web was doing searches for itself. At first BB thought it was a virus and wiped it clean and finally figured it out and gave us anew computer. Same thing happened. We ended up going with a Dell. Customer service was top notch, this laptop not so much.

Great Laptop at a Great Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My search for a new laptop began after I graduated High School this June, I needed a good new laptop for College in the fall as I am a Computer Engineering major. I decided to buy this laptop over a macbook pro and do not regret my decision to do so. This laptop is highly durable are runs extremely smoothly, As of now I am yet to have any problems with it. I am a huge fan of the keyboard and the back-lit keys and the touchscreen works wonderfully. I also have found myself using the laptop's "Yoga" functions much more than I thought I would and for those worrying about the hinges durability, the hinges are very strong and are made of metal. My only complaint about this laptop is that the outer casing is prone to collecting fingerprints, but that's just nitpicking. Overall, this is a wonderful computer with great specs for a great price.

Best for price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Comfortable keyboard with great feedback. Light weight and with a great battery life. Fast but you have to make sure your router is up to date since it is an AC wireless device. Only problem is the pre-loaded stuff is kind of annoying but that's on all of the computers. Also screen doesn't feel smooth to me but that is an opinion. I really do recommend this device. Out performs the surface pro for price to performance. Way more sturdy then most 2-in-1s. I hope you enjoy.

update problems
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this 6 days ago, used it for a couple hours before upgrading to 10. Windows 10 failed to update a few times, i had already performed whatever updates from Lenovo etc.. So after going online and getting the way around that, it upgraded and seemed fine. Yoga did seem to slow down some, enough to the point that i would try a factory reset. Been stuck in a loop of inaccessible boot device. Ive tried all the basic methods of factory resetting it, and even the suggested download from microsoft to usb, but it wont recognize it..after talking to several customer service people for Lenovo and being on hold a very long time, and redundantly pestered with sales pitches to purchase tech support.. im just going to return the product... However, I like the product so ill just exchange it i think, and then not "upgrade" to !0, though 10 is pretty cool. Or just try again who knows.. But the product is nice, only takes some getting used to. i think my ipad i had was better at just being a tablet than this, but it is still ok. It's a nice tablet and was very quick laptop for a short period of time. So i said 3 stars because i liked it a lot, but if i cant use it, then it doesnt deserve the 3 stars.. ill recommend this because i cant imagune everyone will meet this problem and it might just be microsoft

The right combination
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I waited probably a year for the right combination of the processor, the size of the SSD in a 2 n 1 laptop and this finally was it. So far, it lives up to my expectations. It is my secondary machine and I keep all data backed up on onedrive now so 256 gb in the sd drive was big enough, they are finally starting to come down in price now, A computer like this had been $1,200 or more in the past, but when I saw these features at $849, I figured this was the time to make the purchase

Best Computer Mac Or PC I Have Owned
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After switching over to Windows from Mac this is my family's third Lenovo and the best of the bunch. I honestly can not find anything but pro's and no con's. First the build quality. While the outside is like a tough rubberized plastic, the inside is brushed aluminum much like entire casing of our Lenovo Edge 2. This helps to save on weight, but they did carry over plastic lip that runs around the edges of both the top and bottom of the laptop and acts like a bumper to stop accidental dings and dents; maybe my favorite feature after denting my aluminum Macs to death. The keyboard is excellent and trackpad is the best on any PC I have used. Backlighting on the keyboard was a deal breaker for me and this unit had it. Second performance. It boots in about 5 seconds, no kidding, 5 seconds. Now you will need to uninstall all the factory bloatware first. The solid state drive makes it just so much more faster than a PC with a regular hard drive. The addition of a full fledged Intel Core i5 instead of an Intel Core M series even though with 8 GB of Ram and the Solid State drive you could easily get by with a Core M processor. Applications open without even the slightest hesitation and run extremely fast. Lastly it appears to have the latest Intel wireless card as it will take the full 100-110 MBPs speed that we have in our area. The tablet mode works fabulous like our other two Lenovo's couldn't ask for more in that department. If there is a downside it is that it is only a standard 720P resolution and not a Retina display, but no big deal for what you get versus what you pay for it. I had been hesitant to buy a laptop smaller than a 15" because I am a musician and run programs I need to be able to read at a little distance from; I think I found the sweet spot with a 14".
