The calibration was completely off-when the screen was of f, it would turn itself back on and act like someone was using the touchscreen. It was also incredibly slow for a n I5. As a side note, I m writing this from my new surface pro 3 (which I love).

The speed of it unit is great as well. I like the keyboard as well as it is easy and comfortable to use. One issue I have experienced twice is the mouse arrow has disappeared twice after using the touchscreen. When I went back to the touchpad, it took about 30 seconds for the mouse arrow to reappear. One complaint and warning I'll give is about Best Buy. There are two versions of this laptop on their website. One is about $20-30 cheaper and is pre-installed with Windows 8.1 (with a free upgrade to Windows 10) and doesn't come with MS office. The other is a little more expensive as mentioned, but Best Buy states it comes with Windows 10 pre-installed and MS office. I made sure I bought the one MS Office and Windows 10 pre-installed. When I got home (30 min away from BB) I found they had given me one with Windows 8.1 pre-installed. Installing Windows 10 took about an hour and a half. I also don't have MS Office on my machine, so now I have to go back to BB.
I would recommend this to a friend SSD hard drive makes a big difference.

This machine has been a headache since day one. It freezes constantly and is currently in the repair shop. I was told until the end of the month. I paid over 1100.00 for this machine and i will never purchase anything else from Best Buy.

I had to hire a computer expert to work with Lenovo before getting a straight answer to the problems. There were easy fixes to most pro lems but Lenovo staff couldn't figure them out on their own.

The technicians determined it was a motherboard issue. Research on the internet showed that there are many complaints regarding this exact issue. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

I can't make it any clearer than this: -If you want a real laptop get a intel i7 Macbook Pro -If you want a real Windows machine get bootcamp/parallels and run Windows 10 -If you want a real touchscreen get a iPad If none of those things are important to you, you aren't really serious about future proof consumer technology, so just waste your money on whatever's running on a special. If you can compromise on quantity you should even be looking at bargain brand lenovos, you should be looking at basement brand Toshiba's and Acer.

Best Buy could only offer an upgrade that we would have to pay for. Long time customer of Best Buy will no longer shop there. Told them that and they could have cared less.

The Lenovo laptop was the only device in my house that wouldn't connect to internet w/o me running diagnostic to repair wifi connectivity. Five months in, I'm not able to connect and the diagnostic doesn't recognise the problem. Useless, expensive piece of junk!!
