Great laptop until it isn't
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop was my favorite computer to use. Lenovo drivers that come with the device are slightly frustrating and crash fairly often but overall this computer did a great job for me. I have now had it for slightly over a year and a half and the screen decided to stop working on me out of the blue. After looking around it appears that this eternal sleep mode is a very common problem with the yoga series. I would not purchase this computer for the one reason. It will greatly frustrate you!

disappointed in product quality and function
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Highly disappointed. I believe I purchased lemon of a product. Tried to return for an exchange and was highly disappointed that Best Buy did not replace. I will probably never buy a Lenovo product again. Not sure I will buy at Best Buy either. Had this product less than 6 months and have had to have it serviced multiple times.

Wonderful machine
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The last two laptops I have bought for business travel (two really big names - use your imagination to figure out which ones) fell short in so many ways that I sold them in less than three months of use. While their specs seemed to be what I wanted, the performance was glitchy and unreliable. Not so with the Lenovo Pro 3. Note that this review is for the Lenovo Pro 3 with the M5Y71 processor, not the older and original M5Y70 processor machines which were slower. About 3 months after releasing the Pro 3, Lenovo upgraded the processor it was using Obviously the style is nothing short of gorgeous. The screen is clear and sharp. The lighted keyboard is an absolute godsend on evening flights or just sitting in front of the TV catching up on paper work at the end of the day. I would never go without a lighted keyboard again. WIFI connectivity is solid. Windows 10 works well on the Pro 3. The ports are everything I need. It is light weight and I absolutely love the 2-in-1 design versatility. Even though this is a laptop, I have not yet had a problem with TSA or flight attendants -- they see the machine as a tablet. Two minor gripes (are you reading this Lenovo???): the USB cable which runs from the very small and wonderful power pack to the computer is too short and it is not a standard USB cable. But I did find a Chinese supplier on Amazon that claims to make a 2 meter cable that works with the Pro 3. Also, the battery life, as other reviewers note, falls short of the competition. There is enough battery to be able to do normal business work on a coast-to-coast flight, but not if you are watching a downloaded movie which requires a brighter display. Despite my gripes, I would strongly recommend the Pro 3 for road warriors. It's light, functional, reliable, and masquerades as a tablet when going through TSA and on a plane.

Awesome IF you get a good one
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I opted for the open box option to save some coin, and considering that best buy listed them in "excellent" condition I figured no worries. Turns out they use the term excellent pretty loosely. the first one I ordered had a problem commonly cited about these computers, no wifi. It didn't even detect that it had a wifi adapter on the machine. reinstalled the O.S. and it didnt fix the problem, so I returned. The second one I received seemed to work great at first, but like many reviewers experienced, it randomly froze up under normal loads and would constantly have to be restarted. the sticker on this one indicated it was a display model at a store. I'm awaiting the shipment of my third open box model, and hoping it comes in "excellent" condition and runs correctly. I love how thin and light these are, and that in tablet mode it actually feels like a tablet.

Reliable, Fast, Best Ultrabook you can afford
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After purchasing a Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro last year at a great price and loving it - when my wife needed a computer I jumped on an open box Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro from best buy. Although the 3 has downgraded the processor from last years 2 - it still works like a beast. It was a no brainer, at the price it is easily the best deal in ultrabooks. I haven't had any problems at all and I love the look of it. Being able to get work done and know that you are saving money and still getting a few years out of a laptop is a good feeling. Go with Lenovo, Surface is overpriced and frankly the hinge is a great idea - kudos to Lenovo for starting that trend. Solid construction - keys are great, trackpad is ok but I use a wireless mouse.

My first 2-in-1: useful but needs improvement
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the 2-in-1, touch screen, and the light weight, which are the primary reasons I bought this product. However, It seems to have trouble detecting which mode I am in. I will be typing on it in laptop mode, and it continuously pops up asking if I want to switch to tablet mode. Other than that, no problems after a few weeks of use! I will say that I don't love Windows 10, but that's the price of buying a new computer.

Great Looking Computer-Some problems
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am on my 3rd, yes my 3rd yoga 3 pro. I love the keyboard and the brilliant screen. I really want to love this computer!!!! The first one had connectivity problems and the molding around the screen just popped up as soon as I took it out of the box. I took it back. The second one was terrible. It could not keep connectivity. I tried to restart it multiple times, but no luck! I tried to remove the printer but it would not let me and kept dropping me from the internet. Every other computer in the house was working with no problems. I finally got frustrated and took it back after 10 days. I looked at everything but could not find anything that compared to the keys and the screen. I exchanged it hoping the 3rd time is the charm. If it continues to drop the wifi I will be taking it back and going back to mac. I love the shape, size, color, keyboard and screen of this computer. That doesn't do me much good if I can't keep an internet connection. Here's hoping that this one has no issues!

Exceeded my expectations
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a long detailed review written for this product, but my daughter ran up and closed the window. To quickly recap, this machine is extremely sturdy and doesn't feel cheap at all. It is visually sexy all around. Super thin and light weight! I was concerned about the Core M processor over the Core i that comes with the higher end machines. Fortunately that concern is a thing of the past. It performs routine tasks without any hesitation. Obviously I know this isn't a powerhouse and cant handle extreme gaming or video editing, but it's super fast with web browsing and apps. And now the battery :( I wish I could brag about this too, but it could do better. Although I don't plan on using it without access to power for more than 4-5 hours anyway, so it's not a deal breaker for me. I read so many negative reviews about this computer. Everything from wifi issues, to serious lag, to total system failure. I've get full wifi everywhere in my house so I think those issues are isolated to the individuals network. There is absolutely no lag at all, and I haven't had any OS crashing problems. The best part of all this is I scored this thing on sale for 699 bones ($300 off current price) While reading some reviews of buyers when this was first released I understand it was retailing at twice what I paid. Do I think it's worth $1400? Probably not, but its steal at $699!

I am in love with this computer!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got the windows 8 version of this laptop and it upgraded easily to Windows 10. I love the versatility this laptop has! I don't know much about the technical aspects of computers, but this is a great on the go laptop! The touch screen is great and it is a very lightweight computer that fits into my purse, and it is not heavy to carry. I also like how the charger is a usb and can be connected in the car or on the go. I also like how it is able to work in tent mode or as a Tablet. I thought I might feel like the screen was too small, but it is actually perfect! I have had it for a month and I have no complaints.

It's nice if you don't mind 3 big issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The laptop is slim, sexy, and very sleek, but three big issues made me return it a few days later. First, the processor is underpowered for the price of the machine. Second, the battery does not last nearly as long as other slim laptops (Macbook Air), and the display scaling you have to do in Windows is terrible. For a laptop that is supposed to be meant for portability, not performance, I was disappointed with the battery life compared to it's main competitor, the new 12" Macbook and Macbook Air. They last all day, whereas this one doesnt. It's also quite underpowered compared to those as well. It has the same Core M that the new Macbook has, but OSX is much more optimized than Windows is, so you'll find more stuttering and lag as you open more and more programs and browser tabs on the Yoga. The biggest issue for me, however, was the display. First, it's absolutely gorgeous, but because you need to use WIndows display scaling it makes programs not optimized for a qHD screen blurry and frustrating to use. Sure, you can pull the scaling back to get the full resolution of the display, but then programs become so tiny that you can't read anything. I found myself constantly logging in and out to refresh the scaling as I changed it to suit the program I was using at the time. This is unacceptable. I wish I could recommend this, but I just wasn't pleased.

Sleek, but has a lot of flaws
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this computer on Black Friday. When we received it, initially we thought it was a great looking computer. It is light weight, looks well constructed. It is very thin and portable. But as soon as we turned it on, we had a lot of problems. Wifi was the main issue -- we only got connection in the same room as our router. If we went into a different room, it couldn't pick up the wifi. In addition it always dropped our wi fi connection so we had to keep reconnecting. The processor also seemed very slow. We couldn't even watch YouTube videos without it playing very choppy. We were highly disappointed in this computer and brought it back. At least we were happy with best buy's hassle free returns. Will not be buying a Lenovo again. We bought an HP Spectre -- hopefully this one will work for us.
