Great thin/light hybrid, but mediocre performance

I love how light and versatile this hybrid is, it is a great marriage between tablet and laptop. Unfortunately, I think the performance is built more for a tablet than a laptop, so it ends up being overpriced for what you get. Paying 1300 for a computer, I expected it to at least deliver on Chrome cast in the low setting but it is pretty choppy, even with a very strong WiFi signal. I'm sure they are working out the kinks with the new Core m processor, but I'm not sure I want to be the Guinea Pig for that. I haven't decided whether to trade it in for last year's model or not. From what I've read, it has better performance than the Yoga 3.

I got the open box item, so the savings were substantial. $720. But after using this laptop/tablet for 2 months I can say I would probably part with up to 950 for it. It is the lightest you can find with this kind of performance. Battery is (probably) at about 6 hours or so of good office usage.
Upgraded to Win 10 (I recommend doing this) and disabled most of Lenovo's bloatware (optional, there are some useful apps).
I have Yoga 2 pro in the house and Yoga tablet, so (unexpectedly) and unintentionally - became a Lenovo fan....

This has been a great laptop for my daughter. It is the laptop/tablet in one and in does great in both modes. Screen is flexible and the laptop itself is super light, yet it seems pretty powerful. She and I are very happy with it!

The flexible design is really cool and has a lot of unique ways to use it. Touch screen works to perfection and it is as light as a feather. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

Great product. It is very light, fast, display is amazing and keyboard/mouse pad feel really nice. The hinge design is great; it gives more stiffness when using laptop mode and touchscreen. It doesn’t heat much and tent mode allows you to walk around doing things while still reading or watching video. I was waiting for this product to come out and it was worth waiting. Battery life is good, but not as long as suggested, that is why I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 stars.

Was going to get a Surface Pro 3 but got this Lenovo Yoga 3 instead. I'm using it as my main computer. Have a 23" monitor, keyboard, mouse, additional usb ports, external cd drive, WD backup, and speakers all hooked up to it.
If I have to travel, I just unhook the above and everything is on this computer already.
Use it mostly for Word docs, some photo editing, and internet.
Lenovo has its own pdf, but I put Adobe back on since I'm used to it. However, before I did that I used Lenovo's pdf and it did what I needed it to do.
Good computer and it's fast -- that's what I wanted.

This computer has been a vast improvement over our 10 year old laptop. It loads the pages quickly. I personally don't care for Windows 8 but I am slowly learning it. The computer is fast, sleek and stylish.

I was looking for a laptop that would give me what I needed for the next few years (I don't buy computers to often) I like to get electronics that will last me a good while. So after a lot of research I ended going with the Yoga 3. I first considered the Yoga 2 but ended up going for the slick thin look, and the light weight. You do give up a little performance with the Yoga 3 compared to the 2 but if your not gaming and stuff like that you would not even tell the difference.

Honestly I took a very long time researching many different 2-in-1 laptops, as I wanted to have something that could function as a laptop but also replace my iPad. This was the perfect option! It has plenty of processing power when you need it, I've even been running virtual machines on it, and the battery life has been phenomenal at around 7 hours on one charge. The hinge for the screen if very sturdy and the machine is amazingly light for it's size.

Am enjoying the versatility of this laptop. Although it can be used with touchscreen, I generally use the keyboard, and also with a wireless keyboard to have the numeric pad available to me. Some other nice features, lighted keyboard, lightweight, the ability to tent it with the hinges. So far very happy with this purchase.

it's incredibly thin and the special hinge connecting the display ad keyboard make it exceptionally easy to flip back and forth between laptop and touchpad modes. The screen is the best I've seen - beats the iPad for sure (I have one). The charge port is unique - it also serves as a USB 2port (in addition to the two USB 3 ports), but it means that none off the universal chargers have a plug for it. On the other hand, the charge "brick" is a USB charger and about a third the size of the normal laptop 'bricks". I get along fine with 128GB, but many may want to spend another $200 and get the 256GB SSD. You lose almost 40GB to Lenovo for recovery and driver partitions, but I divided the remainder (using windows) into 100GB partitions for the system and data partitions - and am having no problems. And attaching a USB3 external drive to one of the two USB3 ports is almost as fast as another internal drive. The battery life is no longer than a normal laptop (5-6 hours), but works fine for me.
Overall - an excellent machine!

It has a lot of nice features, weight being one of them. The style is really nice, love the watchband style hing. The reason for a rating of 4-stars, it's a little slower then I'm use to, but I'm not a gamer so I can handle it not being speedy fast. I've never owned a "Lenovo", but would buy from them again (hopefully this computer will last me a while or my thoughts can change on that).

When a laptop we use for a home based business had a hard drive fail it was time to start looking for new one. After doing some research we decided that we needed one with a solid-state drive. Our search brought us to Best Buy where a really knowledgeable salesperson helped us find the right laptop to use - one that fit both of our needs and our budget. Now that we've had the computer in operation for a little over a month I can safely say that it's everything it was advertised to us and more. The touch screen, while not needed, is a definite plus and solidifies our positive opinion of this laptop!

The new laptop is beautiful, lightweight, and easy to start up. There are so many different features that I find it difficult to navigate the screen and find where everything is. Of course with no kind of instructions, it is even more difficult. But it's a challenge worth exploring I've found!

I am in love with this computer. Easy to use and so useful. It is very lightweight and comfortable and easily switches from tablet to laptop mode. It has a plethora of free apps including very useful productivity apps. It easily accepted my older programs. The solid state drive will mean a longer computer lifespan. As an older adult I did not find switching to Windows 8 to be difficult. The display is so easy to read. I very highly recommend this computer.

great little laptop. light, with plenty of power for a moderate user. probably wouldnt recommend if you do a lot of multi tasking of cpu intensive processes. also, the transition to windows 10 is NOT smooth. a lot of drivers need updating. without these, only laptop mode works.
