    Good, but Could've Been Better

I owned a Yoga 2 Pro and it was a solid machine. I was excited for the Yoga 3 Pro. I've had it for almost a year now (pre-ordered it) and while it's a very good machine, there are a few things that should've been better. What's Good: - Weight. This thing is light. Lighter than the Yoga 2 Pro, which feels like a brick in comparison. - Screen. Gorgeous. However, there are some issues with apps that don't scale well to the insane resolution. Not sure if that's the app's fault or Window's fault, but some apps will look incredibly tiny because of the resolution. - Keyboard. Nice keyboard. However, it doesn't have the hardware F keys like the Yoga 2 Pro has. I really miss those keys. I don't use them very much (usually F2 to rename files and F5 to refresh), but I use them enough to be slightly annoyed to have to hold the Fn key plus the appropriate F key. - Performance. Runs everything great. No complaints there. What's Not So Good: - Battery life. It's pretty terrible. At least for me. There are a probably a few things I can do different to squeeze out some extra juice, but when you pay $1500 for a machine, battery life should be low on the list of things to worry about. On the other hand, I knew what I was getting into. They have to trim the extra weight and size from somewhere, right? I just have to plug in every 3-5 hours. What's Terrible: - Continued Battery Drain. Apparently there's an issue with the Yoga 3 Pro where the battery will drain even when it's sleeping and Lenovo hasn't acknowledged it (there's a pretty big post on the Lenovo forums about it) and thus there's no fix for it. So you can have a full 100% charge, unplug it, close the lid (with the appropriate setting for what Windows should do when the lid is closed), open it the next morning (approximately 8 hours later) and be down to 50% charge. Based on the battery drain, I probably won't by another Yoga machine (or Lenovo laptop) and therefore I can't recommend it. Historically they've been solid, but Lenovo not doing anything about this battery drain is seriously annoying. I'd probably just get a Surface Pro the next time around.

I didn't like this at all. The hinge is cool, but that isn't enough. A product this expensive should exceed expectations, and this did not. I returned ti and bought the HP Spectre instead - exact same price, and very happy with a much better product!

Ever since I bought the Lenovo Ultrabook I have had nothing but trouble. Bought end of July and has been in shop ever since. The keyboard and motor have been replaced, but BEST BUY WILL NOT GIVE ME A NEW MACHINE! Right now I only have half the screen showing. Horrible product and service.

The machine will not start and it looks like it is not charging. Two years since I bought it, but unfortunately I had to buy a mac because this is not a reliable OS and device.
