Unlocking with the fingerprint scanner is a great feature. The material on the laptop itself gives it a unique appearance and appears to be durable and stain resistant (although obviously I haven't tried purposely spilling anything on it!) The keyboard is very comfortable to type on, and it is not too loud. The backlighting option in the keyboard is convenient for working in the dark. The built in webcam cover is great for remote work when you don't want anyone to accidentally see you. The laptop itself is very fast. I use it a lot for remote teaching, and I paired it with the wacom stylus - also highly recommended.

Had some issues with the programs I installed so had to install Windows twice, but aside from that has been working great.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 6 13. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the onboard microphone within your Lenovo Yoga 6 13, model number 82FN003TUS. First, tap the Windows key , then open the Settings menu. Go to Privacy & security, then scroll down to the App permissions section, and click on Microphone. Look at the Microphone access and Let apps access your microphone sections, then make sure that the toggle button is turned On. Check if your mic is working now. If not, here is a link to some more troubleshooting tips: https://windowsreport.com/windows-11-microphone-not-working/#:~:text=Hit%20the%20Windows%20key%20%2C%20then%20open%20the%20Settings%20menu.,your%20mic%20is%20working%20now. Finger print scanner acts up sometimes. Screen has some weird macro dimming thing that saves power but is annoying to see. That like the majority of affordable laptops. I like it for what it is, it's not a $1500 laptop, but its snappy and gets normal things done on the go. Battery life is really good in my opinion as well. Some people complain that the hinge is too tight (takes two hands to open). I like it. I mean it's a 2 in 1, if it had a laptop hinge it would just like flop down when you try to prop it up.

This Yoga 6 13 ships with a 13.3 inch (screen size measured diagonally) IPS - FHD (1920x1080) 10-point Multi-touch screen, with a brightness level of 300 nits, has a Glossy finish. This screen provides 100 Percent of the sRGB (72 Percent NTSC) color gamut for excellent color accuracy. If you are getting less than expected screen brightness, be sure that auto brightness/adaptive brightness is turned off. Amazingly High Quality with All of the Features

The touch screen is so clear and the colors are so rich. It's lightweight and has the most classy looking blue fabric cover on the lid. The keyboard has nice touch and feel to it and the mouse pad is very responsive. The AMD processor solid state hard drive and the Wi-Fi 6 internet card makes is the perfect combination. Very fast and a pleasure to use. It's a 2-in-1 laptop with a 13.3" screen that makes it easy to transport if your a student or professional. I especially like the backlit keyboard. So nice to use it while in a low light TV room.

Versatile Yoga

My previous two computers were Asus laptops which I really liked. I am very pleased with my Lenovo. It is slightly smaller than my previous laptop, has a sexy fabric cover, boots up very quickly, has a very comfortable keyboard and I like that I can login with my fingerprint and/or use the touchscreen. I am no longer a heavy user of a laptop so I haven't given this one much of a test drive yet but so far it is doing all that I expected.
