Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues booting up your Lenovo Yoga 6 13 model number 82FN003TUS. Be sure the battery is fully charged. Plug the computer in with its included USB-c Type AC adapter/charger. There is only one port on this computer that can charger the computer. It is on the left side of the computer and has an electric plug icon next to it. There is also an LED light next to this charging port. When the AC adapter is plugged in to both a power source and the computer the LED lights up to indicate power is following to the computer. Let the computer charge for 15-minutes. Now press the power button and the computer should boot normally. If not, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support for additional help at: 877-453-6686.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo Yoga 6 13 model number 82FN003TUS. This model ships with Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System and should not freeze. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the power button on your Lenovo Yoga 6 13, model number 82FN003TUS. Resetting your computer back to original factory setting may correct both the issue with the power button and the short battery life you are experiencing. This system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the bottom right side of the device, right near the bottom right corner of the cooling vent on the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. Once the computer is reset, try the power button, it should work as normal now. Before you install any software, test the battery to see if the battery life has improved. Superb little powerhouse, most bang for my buck!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.[SKIP TO THE BOTTOM FOR THE TL;DR SECTIONS] Ok a few things… I’ve seen a lot of buzz around this laptop and too much speculation and too little experience-based feedback. I’ve decided to add to the latter to hopefully help people on the fence about purchasing this machine. A little about me: I purchased and am coming from a fully loaded HP Envy 15t-j100 that I started using the beginning of 2014. Model link will be listed below for reference, but a quick snapshot: i7-4900MQ @ 2.8Ghz, NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M, Intel HD Graphics 4600, 16GB RAM, 1TB SDD, HDMI, 4 USB 3.0 ports, card reader, fingerprint scanner, touchscreen…retail was around $2K at the time (for cost comparison later). Throughout the years, the opening and closing of the lid caused the left hinge to loosen and eventually wore out the screw housing and lessened the integrity of the bottom housing of the laptop (opening and closing the lid would cause the base to open up without applying opposing pressure). I am currently on my last semester for undergrad and ironically, COVID has been a blessing in terms of working and going to college from home. I no longer have to open and close the lid for travel and I’ve come to acknowledge just how heavy this machine is (probably around 6-7lbs). I’m enrolling in a graduate program next fall and I know my former beast of a machine isn’t going to hold up much longer, and so I did what I assume most people do in this situation and started looking up reviews and recommendations for products currently in the marketplace. I used to be a huge tech-head, but my spare time has decreased the more I aged and I found myself learning about all the advancements laptops have made since I was a last on the scene in 2014. Sorry, that was supposed to be much briefer than it turned out…Anyway here’s the model of the HP: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-ENVY-15-j100-Quad-Edition-Notebook-PC-series/6521359/model/6521361 Moving on… I was in the market as a student looking to get the most bang for my buck. I really only had two main conditions: I was coming from a 15.6” screen and wanted something much more portable and after a ton of investigation, I rationalize a 14” compromise. The second condition was the price range: $400-$600 after tax. I quickly found that an AMD Ryzen 5/7 processor was the way to go, and I wanted something under 3lbs with above decent battery life. With these prerequisites, I had narrowed my options to: ASUS ZenBook 14 ($) HP Envy 2-in-1 x360 (too big, too heavy >4.5lbs) Lenovo IdeaPad 5 14 (TN screen, IPS model unavailable) Lenovo IdeaPad 5 15 (too big), TN screen, IPS model unavailable) LG Gram ($) MacBook Air M1 (just for the lolz, obviously outside of budget) Then I happened to catch wind of the new yoga line from Lenovo. I was able to look up the product info for the yoga 6 off the Lenovo website, however, the product was unavailable and not much info was out. Nobody had it, not even Amazon. Enter BestBuy. I was shooketh. BestBuy was the only entity I found selling this laptop at a listing for $699. The only comprehensive review I found for this machine was from laptopmedia (linked below) and some consumer reviews off the BestBuy website. A few days later a review was posted by the channel Deal Unboxing on YouTube. I was more than intrigued. I happened to miss the deal BestBuy was having for $550 but was able to, surprisingly, find a seller on eBay. Link to comprehensive Yoga 6 review https://laptopmedia.com/review/lenovo-yoga-6-13-review-stain-resistant-fabric-cover-and-ryzen-4000u-processors-on-board/ I’ve had the Yoga 6 for three days now. Here are my thoughts so far: Model: Yoga 6 13ARE05 82FN003TUS https://psref.lenovo.com/Product/Yoga/Yoga_6_13ARE05?ch=82FN003TUS&country= Out the door cost: $583.31 Specs: AMD Ryzen 5 4650U 2.10GHz 6-Core Processor -no complaints with the Ryzen 5 PRO, very responsive, boots in like 6 seconds, feels like 3 - have email clients, spotify, multiple chrome tabs and sessions going, have my phone via Your Phone app, zoom, etc… Has been mint so far, no hiccups 13.3" 1920x1080 Full HD IPS Touchscreen Display -I worried 13.3” was too small but it’s apt for school work, the like, and productivity -Bezels have become so thin in current laptops! -Clean and crisp looking visuals -Touchscreen and turns into a freaking tablet! -nits feel a bit underwhelming, I’ve only been using on max brightness, it’s too dark for my linking below max setting 8 GB DDR4 Memory -I see a lot of disgruntled comments about the soldered RAM and lack of slots -Honestly hasn’t been an issue for my purposes, again: have email clients, spotify, multiple chrome tabs and sessions going, have my phone via Your Phone app, zoom, etc… Has been mint so far, no hiccups -I do see that a high percentage (almost all) of the available for use RAM is consistently being used with my usage, but it seems the hardware and software are running fluidly together, not causing any lag or performance issues 256 GB Solid State Drive -Fine for my purposes, and it’s upgradable AMD Radeon Graphics -very nice graphical interface and settings Ports 2x USB 3.1 Type C 2x USB 3.1 Type A -I saw a guy leave a 1 star review on bestbuy claiming his laptop wouldn’t charge and the usb c was defective. I’m 99.9% sure he didn’t realize only the usb c on the left of the laptop is for power delivery, the port on the right side will not deliver power to charge the device. Wi-Fi + Bluetooth -wifi 6 enabled and very fast responsiveness and connectivity (recently upgraded to the ASUS RT-AX86U router so that works out) Backlit Keyboard -has 2 step lighting: bright and brighter. Brighter is not much more illuminated than the bright setting Fingerprint reader 4-Cell Li-Polymer Battery -Instantaneous reading = superb quality of life. I have a Note 20 5G and I’ve come to hate how slow the phone fingerprint processing is compared to the one on the yoga 6 (first world problems) -battery literally lasts more than a full day if I take it easy with zoom and watching videos Windows 10 Home -I upgraded to pro Weight Starting At: 2.91 lbs -feels a tad over 3lbs but I’m not too bothered -chassis is sturdy and built very nice, no flex on the lid, solid frame. Slight flex on the palm rests and more noticeable flex mainly by the f, g, h, v, b, n, and space keys. Nothing too extensive, but worth noting. -keyboard feels good with decent keypress -worth noting that the FN keys are not bound by default but can be enabled via the lenovo vantage app, without going into BIOS/UEFI -trackpad is very, very good -almost no fan noise at all most of the time, and fairly quiet -have not felt the laptop even get warm, even by the fan vent (very slight warm airflow) Specs TL;DR Pros: +physical camera privacy shutter +very portable (13.3”) +lightweight (~3lbs) +long lasting battery life (6-24+ hours irl depending on usage) +instantaneous fingerprint unlock (+++QOL) +2-in-1 (laptop and tablet, best of both worlds) +touchscreen +Speakers [See cons] (fantastic vocals and everything minus bass) +/-fabric lid (looks coolish, feels like premium jeans but in all honesty, I prefer nonfabric) +clear, crisp graphics +Ryzen 5 PRO +price (500-600 after tax) +thin side and top bezels (bottom screen bezel is moderately thicker) +~100% sRGB +Very little bloatware +quiet fan +well-made trackpad +not even warm to the touch +USB C (+++QOL) Cons: -no HDMI (can get adapter) -no card reader (can get adapter) -Speakers [See pros] (very underwhelming bass) -/+fabric lid (I suspect it will pick up dirt over time) -underwhelming nits (only use on max brightness) -8GB soldered/no additional RAM slots -16:9 ratio (personal preference is 16:10 but they are few and far between) -60Hz refresh rate (coming from a 120Hz phone) -no pen for tablet mode -glossy screen (doesn’t bother me much but I have noticed people being very preferable towards matte) -Not the best camera and mic (just fine for student purposes) -FN functions are a bit laggy/unrefined, which is odd (hoping it improves with a software/firmware update) Three things I would like to upgrade to: 1. 16gb ram 2. 120Hz refresh rate (can’t go back once you’ve experienced it. Ironic, I know) 3. Either 16:10 ratio or 400 nits Upgrades I did make (<$40): Windows 10 Pro Microsoft Office Suite Kingston Usb 3.2 Mini MicroSD reader to allow me to pop in a 256GB card I have laying around for archive storage Removed bloatware Recap TL;DR version: College Student with a $500-$600 after tax budget looking for a 14” laptop with an AMD Ryzen 5/7 processor and under 3lbs with great battery life. What I got with the YOGA 6 was a $583, 13.3” laptop with an AMD Ryzen 5 PRO around 3lbs with great battery life. Closing thoughts: The soldered 8GB of RAM is a nonissue unless you’re looking at playing with multiple VMs, doing heavy multimedia editing, or high-end gaming. Let’s be real, this is the wrong price range if you’re looking at laptops for those reasons. I suspect RAM utilization is going to decrease or at the very least stay the same due to increased improvements in efficiency in the coming years and predict this laptop will have 6-7 years of natural life if properly maintained. Although the bass on the speakers isn’t great, the overall sound profile is pretty good. I can always connect my XM3s or buds via Bluetooth for a higher sound quality experience. Coming from the fully loaded HP Envy 15t-j100, I can say I haven’t really touched it since the YOGA 6 came in, aside from transferring over data. Have nearly forgotten about it. The YOGA 6 is leagues lighter, portable, and faster. Bottom line: This is a superb little powerhouse of a machine. I definitely am getting the most bang for my buck with this laptop and for <$600 after tax, this is for sure a slick deal.

Good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent laptop. It's a great size - more compact than 14" machines while being bigger than the 11.6" ones schools tend to give out. I was initially worried about the plastic build but it feels nice enough, and definitely not too cheap. The screen is really nice - if you've used the old low-resolution screens many laptops have had for a while (especially around this price point) it will be a clear improvement. I like that it's touch-enabled although it collects fingerprints very easily. The keyboard is good- it's probably not as comfy as a ThinkPad, but I like it a lot more than what's on Apple's computers as of late. The trackpad is also good, although Macs and Surface Laptops still have better ones. Performance is great (and much better than comparable Intel machines). All in all, this was a great buy for the $550 I paid for it.

Yoga 6 is so good, we bought three!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well, what can I say, I now own three of these Yoga 6 laptops. One for the wife, one for me, and one for the son (for Christmas). My son will be going to the University next year and this will serve him well. It's super lightweight and has a great battery. It's super fast and has a great display. I heard some reviews say this is loud and has bad thermal. We're just not seeing it. With the intel chips and turbo boost, the laptop fan was super loud. These Ryzen chips just don't seem to have the issue. I just never hear the fan kick on at all. It never feels hot to the touch. I tried some other laptops. The display just wasn't as good. The fan was loud. The screen didn't auto rotate well in tablet mode. This laptop on the other hand is great in all these areas. Get it, you'll be happy.

Exceeded expectations
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best bang for the buck especially when it was on sale. Light weight at 2.9# considering it's packed with features like a nice touch screen display, 7nm AMD APU, fingerprint login, 360 degree hinge for tablet mode, optional pen input for note taking, good sounding speakers, etc. Suggest debloating and removing Alexa, McAfee (using built-in Windows Defender instead), etc. to free up memory and setting Battery Saving System Performance Mode in BIOS for super long battery life. On second day and it's still at 58% battery life.

Lenovo computers ship with one of the cleanest factory software installs within the consumer computer industry. Alexa capability is built in, but must be installed and activated by user to be enabled.

My Best Buy Yet!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this laptop, it's small but is powerful. Love the speed, the keypad, and the Blue Fabric Cover is an added bonus. At the time I made my purchase my car had been stolen and my laptop which was inside was taken as well. I needed something quick because I do a lot of work with my laptop but at the time wasn't able to afford a expensive laptop although I needed something efficient. The salesperson helped me, met my needs and I am so thankful. It did the job and I was able to afford it.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was considering getting this as it was on sale and the specs seemed gods for the price being paid. The laptop was light and overall good looking not as good as a surface go laptop or MacBook Air but not bad for the price. Issues crop up
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After two years, issues started happening: - The battery suddenly started lasting an hour, rather than six hours. Supposed fixes offered on the Lenovo website did not fix the issue. - The touchpad started having problems. Left clicking and click-and-dragging now requires two or three attempts. Very frustrating. It's a fancy laptop that neglects some basic functions.

Stay away from this highly defective model
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall this is a decent laptop in terms of speed and portability. However, this model seems to be highly defective (or I just have the worst luck)... The first one I bought in August of 2021 from Best Buy had a non-working trackpad right out of the box. I immediately exchanged it for another and everything seemed fine with it. But not even two months later the keyboard broke. Nothing happened to it - I didn't drop it, step on it, NOTHING. Just one day it randomly stopped registering the keyboard was there. I tried EVERY troubleshooting method in the book, even went as far as resetting the laptop to factory default. Nothing worked. Now I paid 600+ for a laptop I can only use as a tablet. Usually, I'm happy with Lenovo brand computers - but stay away from this particular model.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the keyboard of your Lenovo Yoga 6 13. First, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. If there is no incompatible software installed but the issues persist, check to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10 on the computer. Then update all BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 10. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.
