I keep it next to my recliner for quick internet searches while watching TV. It's lightweight and convenient. It comes with Windows 11 Home but I used an old Windows 7 Pro key to upgrade it to Windows 11 Pro.

I started using AMD processors years ago and you get a whole lot of bang for the buck. The included operating system has work flawlessly and battery life is ok… I do wish that this laptop was offered without a cloth cover.

This model ships with a Integrated 60Wh, Lithium-Polymer Battery, which within this model configuration, has a battery life of up to 18 hours, depending on the work the device is performing. If you are getting substantially less battery life, first, set your screen brightness at less than 100-percent - try 80-percent to start with. Then, be sure Battery conservation Mode is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. Here is a link to instructions for turning off Battery Conservation Mode: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht103159. Also check what programs are running in the background on the computer. Be sure only the programs you want running in the background are. These programs will drain the battery. Here is a link to information about how to find out what programs are running in the background on your Windows 11 computer and how to manage them for better system performance: https://websiteforstudents.com/how-to-find-what-is-running-in-windows-11/. Then, finally, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 11. Incompatible software will drain the battery at a faster rate. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom of your Windows 11 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

I purchased on 7/1/21 and this laptop goes on sale shortly after. I randomly was recommending it to a friend and looked online to show them this laptop. Wow it was on sale!!!! I remember a long time ago I return/exchanged an item and I was given the difference in price because it went on sale. I then decided to go to best buy and get the difference of 100 dollars. I called customer service first to make sure this was still possible. I was informed that all I had to do was show my receipt since it was purchased on 7/1/21. I went to the best buy yesterday 7/22/21. In the store, I was told that I would not be getting the difference because it was past 15 days. What???!!!! I left disappointed. I honestly do not watch the items I purchase from best buy to see if they go on sale after purchase... My situation was just coincidence. Sigh Best Buy... Sigh

The print reader is beginning to spoil me since I am not great remembering passwords, the AMD Ryzen 5 along with the 8 GB memory keeps the laptop working faster than I have ever experienced.

We decided on one and so far we are very pleased with the performance. A+ for the associate for friendliness and knowledge.

One feature we really like, since the device is shared, is the fingerprint reader that logs in each user to their own profile. My daughter and I both use it. I like laptop mode, she likes tablet mode. Battery life has been great.

The top cover was a cool change from other laptops. Returned because the sides of the laptop weren't flush with the bottom panel and scrapped against my skin every time I picked it up.
