Regarding performance and fan speed, this device has a feature called Smart Power that allows the user to adjust the thermal performance settings of your laptop. By pressing the Fn and Q keys, you can switch between three modes; battery saver, the screen will dim and performance can be throttled to limit fan activation and keep the device quiet, second is intelligent cooling, this uses the smarts of your computer to recognize tasks being completed and to rang up or down performance to optimize battery while giving a burst of speed when needed, and last is maximum performance, which is the mode where battery life is not a priority for the computer anyone, only delivering as much power and speed your processor and other components are capable of, resulting in internal fans activating often to help keep the internals cool. Two times was not the charm

I bought one, but returned it after just a couple days due to a flickering screen. Bought another of the same model because I really liked it otherwise, but that ones track pad was messed up from the beginning and i ended up bringing it back too. the guy at the geek squad when i brought the second one in told me that these newer models have been having problems. Best buy and their employees were amazing through this whole process, but unfortunately i ended up going back to my ailing macbook. Be careful with this one!!

Tried to replace a M1 MacBook Air

Not sure if hardware or software, but it just feels sluggish. The trackpad doesn’t always recognize input but at the same time has terrible palm rejection.

Very glichy and speakers quit working during first Zoom call. Was able to reinstall Windows to repair the sound but returned it and purchased a Dell for less $$.

Don't buy yoga

There is a defect straight out of the box relating to the touch pad, where it freezes and stops responding. Called best buy and told me I was screwed, then called Lenovo tech support, mailed in, and returned with "reinstalled driver" even after telling them it had an issue out of the box. Laptop headed back for repair again. It's been 2 months and my son started college without a laptop. Might have to buy another one since he can't wait. Lenovo tech support sucks.

The retractable screen makes it like having a Surface combo. Definitely get the blue color. The back fan can get overheated. It works easily with the camera touchpad and has good security features.

It keep going into auto repair mode. I had to take it to the geek quad four times and it never fixed the issue. The geek squad even sent the computer out and still unsuccessful. I will never purchase another Lenovo computer. Trash! The Geek Squad and Best Buy were very customer friendly and helped me resolve the issue. I ended up getting another computer. I was greatful for the Geek Squad staff and leadership for working with me and really understanding my issue.
