Windows updated and couldn't get past bitlocker. On two computers. First one locked up. Second one could at least turn on & get to a point to be "fixed". Can't say I'd recommend it at this point but may change opinion now that it just started working.

I did have an issue with the KB backlighting, it ended up being a loose ribbon cable inside the laptop. It was a fairly simple fix but did require opening up the laptop which I am comfortable

My overall experience

However, I started noticing a serious problem within the first week. It suddenly stopped working and asked for a BitLocker recovery key. I didn’t know what was going on, so I took it to Best Buy. They told me the laptop was still fine and that I just needed to enter the BitLocker key. I followed their advice, and the laptop started working again. But after a few more weeks, the issue returned—and it started happening much more frequently, almost every day. The laptop would randomly shut off and ask for the BitLocker key again, and sometimes I had to enter it three times before it would actually start. This usually happened at the worst possible times, when I really needed to use it. Eventually, I gave up and started using my mom’s laptop instead. When the laptop works, it’s great. But the other half of the time, it either won’t turn on or keeps asking for the BitLocker key. On top of that, the trackpad occasionally stops working for no reason. I’m not sure if this issue is related, but I’ve had to use an external mouse several times because of it. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this laptop. If I could, I would return it and get a different one.

To start, given the frequency of the BitLocker key activation, the system's software may be corrupted. To help restore your system to optimal function, restoring your system using the Lenovo DDRS resource should allow you to setup your Yoga again and you can restore the system from a backup tied to your Microsoft account that you're currently signed in to.
After setting up your device again, by updating system drivers via the Lenovo Vantage app on your Yoga (open Vantage, on the homepage, select the Check for Updates button and apply all updates, specifically the Wacom input driver) and this should resolve the suspected touchpad problems if they arise after resetting your device.
To begin the process, by navigating to the DDRS webpage on the Lenovo Support site: https://support.lenovo.com/ca/en/solutions/ht103653-lenovo-digital-download-recovery-service-ddrs-download-the-files-needed-to-create-a-lenovo-usb-recovery-key, you can follow the written instruction or video instructions on the process.

Highly recommendable laptop

User-friendly and clean design but screen seems a bit fragile. Would recommend a protective case or sleeve when traveling with it. There is a glare because of the glass screen but i'm sure there's compatible screen protectors if it bothers too much.
