Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did my research for a laptop for college, i didn’t justify breaking the bank on a laptop so i thought Lenovo was good and this laptop would be too. I. WAS. WRONG. Let’s start with the basics; when you press turn off the laptop goes into hibernation, it does not turn off meaning your battery? If it was at 100 last night the next day it’ll be at 40%. I updated it and it went wrong, it started asking me for a recovery key every time the laptop would “turn off” no matter if i did or did not try to update it. The fan is at the bottom, the computer is bound to overheat, and for the 4 modes it has it’s useless because the speakers are in the front, no matter how much you increase the volume it won’t ever be enough. The laptop has a two week return window OF COURSE IT DOES, this laptop broke literally a month after purchasing it. No fall, no liquid damage, and no installments (software things like RAM or processors) the PC would turn on but the display would not show. I was told to contact Lenovo so they would send a new one over, but their customer service is as bad as the laptop itself. Not helpful at all, they would only offer to fix it and send it back (meaning it’s at risk of the same thing happening again and i have to pay for the repair next time) instad of being helpful they tried selling me another warranty THAT DOESNT EVEN OFFER TO REPLACE THE LAPTOP IN CASE IT HAPPENED AGAIN. Not to mention it takes over a month to repair and i have to go to college without a laptop. THANK YOU SO MUCH LENOVO!!!
