To start with performance, we recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button, applying all available updates. Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button, following on-screen prompts to apply all available updates here as well.

Save yourself the hassle, get something else.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.At first I was amazed at everything this laptop had to offer but even before the one year Lenovo warranty expired problems started to arise. First the touchpad would be unresponsive, which I was able to fix on my own. Then as my warranty expired, my power button and now there are random keyboard keys that are unresponsive which is why I am shopping for a new laptop because I've had this not even 2 years. Their customer support is trash and they don't help at all. People are charging me half of what I paid just to repair it.

Only buy it if you have BestBuy Total

I can't imagine having to deal with this without having BestBuy Total. They replaced the laptop after it stopped holding a charge within months. It would constantly shut off, and it is defaulted to ask for the bitlocker code every time it starts up. Flash to a couple of months later, and the trackpad glitches. The cursor would jump into random corners every so often. It was sent in and "fixed". I had it back for less than 24 hours before the issue returned. Its back at the shop for another month, but I am not hopeful it will be fixed and hoping for store credit.

Frustrated

I told the best buy guy im looking for a pc just to surf internet and he said this is the one to get. I get to using it and the pc stalling because the memory is all utilized. I think its windows 11 hogging all the space. I have had this same build on my asus but it was windows 10 and no issues surfing net on multiple tabs. i think you will want to go with the 16gb and up no not have any idling issues on this pc.

Breaks as soon as 1 year warranty is up
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I paid a lot of money for this thing and started having problems with the screen flashing black just after the one year warranty! Of course! I called Lenovo and they tried to walk me through a hard reset, which I did and it changed nothing. I called back the next day as they said I'd have to monitor it to see if it fixed. The of course offered me another warranty but then stated that it wouldn't cover the issue at hand and if I wanted them to fix it that I would have to send it to them. Sounds nice of them, but let's be real. They want me to send it to them to fix and then they tell me that I'd have to wait weeks for it to be returned. This again is a work computer. I can't be out of work for weeks and discuss that with them only to have them tell me that it's my only option. My option moving forward is not to purchase their products! Paying over $800 for a computer that sits on a desk and to have it break in 1 year and 10 days is unacceptable. Poor customer service is unacceptable.

Lenovo has zero customer care

I am trying to solve an order on this laptop on Lenovo website (not on BestBuy - I love Bestbuy) for a week. So, dear Lenovo Customer Care, I ordered a laptop on 29 Sept 2024, Order #4646864019, and although I was initially given an estimated delivery date of 2 days, I have not received any updates regarding the status of my order. I have contacted your support team multiple times and provided all necessary information to release the order, yet no further action has been taken. My credit card has already been charged, and I will be billed soon for this purchase. If I do not receive a clear status update or a shipment confirmation within the next 24 hours, I will be forced to explore further action, including contacting my credit card company for a chargeback and submitting a formal complaint to the FTC and Better Business Bureau. I trust that you can help me resolve this matter promptly. Already own a Yoga 7 bought from Bestbuy - perfectly done. Just so you know I am trying to settle things not be hatefull.

Microsoft Never Again

I got locked out through bitlocker which I never set up. No one at Best Buy could help me so I ended up returning the computer and buying a Macbook which I am extremely happy with. Thanks for nothing Microsoft.

Motherboard and charging problems.

I took it for repairs and learned the mother board needed to be replaced which cost as much as the computer and they were not available if we wanted to order them. I would not recommend it. I lost all my money for a few months of use.

Failed within a few months

Had to send back to Lenovo and wait two weeks for a firmware update. Laptop was returned in a flimsy box with scratches. Called Lenovo said it still works, right?
