The WORST machine I have ever owned. Unreliable.

This machine is the worst piece of junk I have ever owned, and I paid full price for it because of the "expert" reviews. 3 months after purchase, the drive died. The machine randomly turns itself on/off. And today, the keyboard died so I'm using an external keyboard that I had to run out to buy. NEVER again. And the customer service is non-existent. I have never bought an extended warranty, but for some reason, I did this time. Good thing since it would be costing me hundreds to salvage this machine. But I'm punting as soon as I get through the work week and buying something else -- probably a Dell since they've been the most reliable and have actual customer service.

I like the size and sturdy metal constructin but I do not like all the junk advertising and pre programmed far left propaganda that I can't seem to get rid of. It is so very frustrating and I asked the geek squad to all my files from my old computer to this one but they moved everything to the cloud instrad and half of my files are missing.

To begin, open the Settings app, then select “Apps” from the left-hand menu of the display, next choose the “Installed apps” option from the right-hand side of the display, finally simply find which program you would like to remove and click the “more options” symbol to the right and uninstall the program.

Crackling and locking

Bought this for school. Set it up for the first day of class and left it for about 30 days. Updated on logging in. All seemed fine. Then, speaker began crackling and keyboard stopped working. Checked online to find hundreds of other customers were having the same issue with their lenovos. Suggested fix... restart or update a driver. Well... no more driver updates... all I can do now is restart once or twice a day. Its under warranty but got the same advice from lenovo...

Hard Drive Failed

I've had this product for 3 weeks and the hard drive failed. Also out of the box it prompted BootLocker every time I turned on the computer until I set my hard drive to not encrypt my data. Then after I did that, a week later my hard drive failed. I loved it otherwise, but it's given me a ton of trouble.

I ordered this laptop on Black Friday but couldn’t pick it up until the following Saturday due to work. I went to pick it up and Best Buy told me they returned my laptop and were giving me a refund. I tried to repurchase the laptop but was told it was no longer available at that price. How did they cancel my purchase without my knowledge, they ripped me off, beware of Best Buy.

I love the laptop, but Best Buy's post-sale abuse of my e-mail address is absolutely infuriating. Even though I've very carefully indicated in my account profile that I don't want advertising or promotional ads, they send and incessant stream of unsolicited e-mails, nagging me to install/activate either unwanted Lenovo bloatware or their own "complimentary" products and subscriptions that I did not willingly purchase. I provided a business e-mail address to establish an account. The stream of spam I receive after every purchase gives me reason to regret that choice.

Had a lot of consistent OS errors/software. Reformated, still had errors. I feel as this probably is not the norm for Lenovo and I received a lemon, but I would not buy another lenovo as this was my first experience with them.

Not sure if it's the computer or the new Windows operating system, but this new computer has been nothing but trouble, even though I use a computer everyday as part of work. Something that had never happened before was that the computer said I had restarted it too frequently and couldn't log in again until I had left the computer on for 2 hours! Another horrible thing is that the computer just stops working, going back to the Yoga home screen while I'm working. I'm considering returning it before my 30 days are up, but I'm not sure anything else won't also suck.

To start, this does seem to be a problem rooted with the operating system. We recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button, apply all available updates.
If this does not resolve the problem, you may then need to factory reset your Yoga and reinstall a factory copy of Windows on the system to remove any problematic software. Died 7 weeks after purchasing.

From the start there were connectivity issues. 7 weeks after purchasing, I got a black screen with critical error died code. Spent over an hour with tech support and couldn't fix it. Now I have to send it in to be repaired and won't even just send me a new one or refund me. Really upsetting. Once it's fixed, who knows if something will go wrong after the warranty expires? The last laptop I had (hp) lasted 8 years.

Disappointed in this laptop

I have been unable to use my laptop after trying several times on several occasions. The mouse freezes in the middle of a word document or email. Everything gets lost and I start over. After 4 tries to complete a task two days ago with no success, I am returning to Best Buy to discuss my options.

Two weeks after buying this computer for close to $800 the software went bad and it wouldn’t work. Brought it back to Best Buy and they said it would cost another $250 to fix it and that it wasn’t covered under warranty! Find another computer to buy
