  • Connectivity Issues-BEWARE !!!

    BEWARE-Connectivity Issues- Keeps dropping the wi-fi internet signal and will not stay connected. I worked with the manufacturer for 2 hours on the phone trouble shooting with the 1 yr. warranty that only covers hardware and labor costs. Well they said it was a software issue and told me to check with my internet provider too just to make sure it wasn't the problem. I checked with Spectrum-no issue- all of my other devices work on my wi-fi network just fine. I BOUGHT this LAPTOP BRAND NEW. I returned it to best buy after they checked it. It seemed to connect fine to their wi-fi network but that was only for a few seconds then we moved on. So BEST BUY exchanged it for me no problem and I tried it again with a 2nd purchase-fingers crossed it was a quirk or something with the 1st one. Well, 2nd one at home-did the SAME THING !!! I took it back to BEST BUY with the 14 day return window and got a REFUND. It's a shame, because the laptop is really nice and had all the features I wanted but if can not stay connected to the internet, what's the point of having it?

  • The WORST machine I have ever owned. Unreliable.

    This machine is the worst piece of junk I have ever owned, and I paid full price for it because of the "expert" reviews. 3 months after purchase, the drive died. The machine randomly turns itself on/off. And today, the keyboard died so I'm using an external keyboard that I had to run out to buy. NEVER again. And the customer service is non-existent. I have never bought an extended warranty, but for some reason, I did this time. Good thing since it would be costing me hundreds to salvage this machine. But I'm punting as soon as I get through the work week and buying something else -- probably a Dell since they've been the most reliable and have actual customer service.
