Perfect Laptop for post retirement!

Having just retired and turned in my work computer, I wanted a good performance Laptop with tons of memory. Solid construction with aluminum shell perfect for future camping trips.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.absolutely wonderful so far!! it looks beautiful, it runs nice, and i use the touchpad all the time. the 2-in-1 aspect is also very nice for watching videos/shows. my only complaints are the loud fan, the battery life that varies a bit depending on use, and tendency to overheat. i also haven’t had a lot of luck trying to buy a clear hard shell case for this type of computer, since it bends differently than most computers do.

Oftentimes I'm in smaller settings with clients and the tripod element of this device has made presenting and notetaking seamless and efficient. Great battery life, performance and storage, especially for the price. The only takeaway is the reset passkey you will have to input if your device has not shut down properly. But shutting down through the start menu and charging appropriately will minimize this inconvenience.

Regarding the trouble you mentioned, to try to resolve this, first, we recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button. Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button. If after the available updates are applied and the system restarts, yet the issue persists, in-depth troubleshooting will be necessary to fix the problem. We recommend contacting Lenovo Support here: 877-453-6686, for further assistance.

The screen graphic are colorful and I like that it touch screen. One thing I do notice is the mouse disappears sometimes. Maybe that because of its touch screen.

We tried and returned two others before we finally explained what laptop we owned and what we like and didn't like about it to the Best Buy in-store rep and he in turn pop quizzed us with questions about daily/ weekly use and so on. Afterwards he directed us towards this Lenevo (had never heard of them) laptop and it’s been absolutely perfect! Smooth, fast and easy to use!

Also has a handy keypad. The ONLY downside and it can be a big one is the screen is super reflective. This can be quite annoying if you have lights or windows behind your workspace. Also the keys are plasticky feeling.

I bought this to replace my old HP laptop which I really liked. The new Lenovo All In One is everything my old one was and more. I have been using it for two months now for mostly home and small business applications, and it's reliable and quick. Love the backlit keyboard! It even physically feels like good quality when handling it. I use it as laptop mostly, though the tablet use is a nice feature on occasion. A good buy!
