To start, we recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button, apply all available updates. Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button, following on-screen prompts to apply all available updates here as well.

Nice and vibrant but not a true 2K screen.

This is not a true 2k screen (2560x1440) but rather 1920 x 1200 which is more like HD plus. Otherwise the screen is bright enough and vibrant and seems to be relatively fast when surfing the web or using apps.

2K resolution is one of multiple high-definition image resolution standards. The primary difference is that 2K resolution can refer to more than one image size. For this reason, 2K is generally accepted as an umbrella term. It is typically used when referring to the motion picture industry, as many films are projected at this standard.
These resolutions are defined by the Digital Cinema Initiatives, or DCI, a governing body comprised of major motion picture studios. The 1920x1200 resolution is considered as 2K, as the horizontal resolution (number of pixels across the display) meets the parameters to fall under the 2K umbrella.

Great laptop

Picture in screen is very bright and clear. Was easy to transition to this from my old worn out laptop which was getting very slow! Should have done this sooner. Don’t regret buying this .

Love this laptop

It's much better quality than my previous laptop. I also love how I can flip it and use it as a tablet. Very happy with this purchase

We recommend running and installing all available drivers updates through Lenovo Vantage and Windows Update Settings, these updates are crucial to the device’s health and will affect the touchpad drivers. To check for updates within Lenovo Vantage begin by launching the application, then select the “Check for updates” button on the top of the right-hand of the display. I switched from Apple and honestly don't regret it. I'm still learning my way around and wish I had more time to tinker with all the features but even with limited time it's been a great experience. Three Cheers for Norma!!

I went to Best Buy on Black Friday figuring it would be on sale. Much to my dismay, it was not. Your rep named Norma felt bad & advised me to download the app & check everyday. I did what she said & could not believe it was $400 off on Cyber Monday. Thanks to Norma as she made my day. Norma was caring, friendly & a people person. She is an asset to your company & deserves a raise!!

Sold Faulty Laptop, GeekSquad would not repair.

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this laptop, about 2 months in it began to overheat when not in use to point laptop would shut down for thermal protection. Went to Geeksquad to get it reviewed, and they wanted $100 to look at it, $400 to fix it. Called Geek Squad Customer service, walked them through they stated it should be free service as the laptop was just purchased. They typed in notes, stating it should be free service, and giving detailed notes about what the problem is. Likely issue is voltage regulation on the motherboard. Return in store to go to the appointment scheduled by customer support that pulled my info stating it should be covered under warranty repair. They immediately tried to charge me the $100 again, and then tried to sell me a new laptop battery. The problem is in the Voltage Regulation on the motherboard, but they try to sell me a new battery for the laptop and they had not even touched the laptop at this point. BestBuy sold me a faulty laptop - Claimed it would be serviced for free, immediately tried to charge me. I complained, told it would be serviced free of charge, and once again tried to charge me. I do not recomend buying through bestbuy, find another vendor that will work to honor their services promises.
