Keyboard issue

You have to restart computer everytime you power up to use keyboard. There is a fix in settings but it slows computer powering up and down.

Windows 11 and AI are a little different, but overall it seems nice. I wonder a little about the hinges being tight but hopefully they don’t break down the road. I’d buy again

Suggestion for improvement for private use

My transition from windows 8 to 11 is being hard, hope my grandchildren can come and help me figure out what I need to do next. Hearing issues and bad weather prevent me from calling anyone or traveling, so I am slowly asking questions to getdirections of how to do things on internet. The sheer # of passwords required to do anything is confusing and for me, anger inducing. I loved my older computer which I used offline and with manual cable connections to printer etc. I dislike everything connected to web. I only like to use internet for a library or store.There should be some alternative for private, non business people who just want personal app tools for creativity and storage.

Regarding the heating issue you mentioned, this Yoga features an active cooling system, along with other components and software, designed to enable the user to power through work without throttling due to heat produced or have the system shutdown due to high internal temperatures.
We recommend that the bottom of the device, where the air intake vents are, is clear of obstructions to increase air flow. Additionally, this Yoga features Smart Control, enabling the user to use the key command combination of Fn + Q to toggle between thermal/performance mode. For instances where you may use the device in your lap or a situation where the intake vents may be obstructed, we recommend switching to cool or quiet mode to help with the heat felt on the bottom of the machine.
Also, please check for and apply any available updates through Lenovo Vantage and Windows Update Settings to help ensure you are using the latest software and drivers to ensure your system is running as efficiently as possible.

Loving the bigger screen and keyboard.
