Dull lifeless display

Otherwise it was a solid built laptop. We upgraded to the Yoga with an OLED display.

Not my favorite

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was not a fan, the screen being LCD really feels prehistoric when compared to your phone screen, tv’s , etc . The 16inch model is kind of pointless in tablet mode because you don’t realize how big it actually is to hold as handheld. It comes at a great price but no pen included . The track pad feels very cheap when clicking and loud . The speakers are awful. If you want a low price laptop and don’t care about those things than it’d be great. I returned this laptop and got the Lenova yoga 9 aura edition and it is a huge upgrade .

You have to restart computer everytime you power up to use keyboard. There is a fix in settings but it slows computer powering up and down.

We are glad to read that the Yoga 7 2-in-1 has been great for you overall.
Regarding the heating issue you mentioned, this Yoga features an active cooling system, along with other components and software, designed to enable the user to power through work without throttling due to heat produced or have the system shutdown due to high internal temperatures.
We recommend that the bottom of the device, where the air intake vents are, is clear of obstructions to increase air flow. Additionally, this Yoga features Smart Control, enabling the user to use the key command combination of Fn + Q to toggle between thermal/performance mode. For instances where you may use the device in your lap or a situation where the intake vents may be obstructed, we recommend switching to cool or quiet mode to help with the heat felt on the bottom of the machine.
Also, please check for and apply any available updates through Lenovo Vantage and Windows Update Settings to help ensure you are using the latest software and drivers to ensure your system is running as efficiently as possible.

Nice laptop

Windows 11 and AI are a little different, but overall it seems nice. I wonder a little about the hinges being tight but hopefully they don’t break down the road. I’d buy again
