I've worked with Dell in the past and they do not compare to this one. Not only the tablet capability but the laptop itself is flawless and definition and modern tech. I can't think of any dislikes. I even bought a pen a couple weeks after and that just added the cherry on top to the experience of this laptop/tablet. The layout I've been using the most, since I have a monitor connected, I either fold it and use the tablet or standing mode with screen facing me and keyboard facing out. The best.

The new one doesn’t always recognize my touch on the mouse pad when trying to move the cursor. There are little things about it that I’m not happy with, but for the most part it is a good computer and allows me to get my work done for school.

Regarding the touchpad issue, to help remedy this, first, in Windows Settings, follow these steps to get to touchpad settings: Bluetooth & Devices > Touchpad. There should be an option to toggle the touchpad here, please ensure it is on. Also, under the "Taps" option in this part of the menu, you can adjust touchpad sensitivity. If this doesn't do the trick, then try installing any available updates through the Lenovo Vantage app by selecting the "Check for updates" button on the homepage of the app. Then, check for updates in the Settings app by selecting the Windows Updates tab and selecting "Check for updates" button.

It was glitchy and had a difficult time handling the ADHD level of tabs I had opened at a time. Why I got another one, I couldn't tell you, because this one is the same way. Just today I had a difficult time getting it to boot up, utilizing the manual restart button in the back several times. It's less than 3 months old, and yes I restart it often. I'll be trading it in.
