Nice design
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lenovo offer a great design, however after one day the screen cracked, without dropped it, which is a common occurrence based on my research.

So far so good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had this for a week now, upgraded from a 2010 Toshiba Satellite Windows 7 i5 computer that had it's share of problems (probably some of which were my own doing). This is my 1st touch screen computer and/or tablet purchase. My fiancee' has a Windows 8 computer and I think Windows 10 is a nice upgrade vs Windows 8. I bought this computer based off the high reviews (4.4) and affordable price ($499). I was looking for something primarily for web surfing, watching movies, and some occasional work in MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT). There were other Lenovo computers with slightly better specs for a little bit higher price, but the reviews were not as good, and I assumed that maybe while the specs were higher, the parts as a whole did not function as well together as what's in this little computer. Also for what I planned to use the computer for, I didn't think the higher specs were really necessary. Pros: Solid state drive is awesome, boots up immediately and programs get up and running quickly too as well. Internet works great, streams good, the Cortana voice assistant is really cool as well. So far have not really had any problems with the machine. Cons: 128 GB is not much storage space, so I bought a portable 1TB hard drive (WD My Passport Ultra - $59.99 sale price currently) which works really well and was able to transfer older files from my old computer onto the hard drive. I love how portable this laptop is, but 11.6" is actually probably a little smaller than I prefer, especially since I have some far-sightedness/astigmatism eye issues. Works great as tablet size though. If this same computer with same reviews existed as 13.3" or 14", I would probably rather have the bigger screen/keyboard. This is my first touch screen computer, touchscreen works pretty well I think but probably not as great as say, an iPad. I've only had this a week, but for now I would recommend the machine for purchase if it suits your needs (light web browsing, word processing, etc.) I would also recommend getting the portable hard drive so that your machine doesn't get bogged down with a bunch of large files that can slow it down (think that's what happened to my Toshiba) and because there is only like 72GB of actual storage after accounting for the OS storage already on the machine. Feel free to ask me questions.

Great Portable Laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I resisted thechange to Windows 8/Windows 10, as well as the addition of touch screens on laptops for quite a while. I went from a Windows 7 laptop to a Acer C720 Chromebook a few years ago. The Chromebook was great, but the limitations on Chrome OS bugged me sometimes, especially when I needed to install a program (which Chrome OS does not allow you to do, it's basically a glorified web browser). I started looking into Ultrabooks, but the rather high cost kept me away. I saw the new Lenovo Yoga 700 at a local Best Buy a few months ago and thought it looked great, but I didn't know much about it. I spent a while researching Win 10 laptops, and decided to give this one a try. So far, it's great. I have already learned how to navigate Windows 10 enough to get by, including the "tablet mode". I've also really enjoyed the touch screen and the ability to fold the screen all the way around. The Core M3 processor was another thing I wasn't so sure about, but it's done great so far. I've been able to play a few Steam games such as Half Life 2 and Counter Strike with little issue. There are some games that won't play simply due to Windows compatibility issues, but that's nothing new. It plays 1080p videos with no problems as well, which is something the Chromebook sometimes had problems with. Honestly the only negative experience I've had with it so far, which is really more of a Windows issue than anything, is the initial updating of the OS and drivers. It took quite a while, and this is with a fast internet connection. Other than that, the screen is great, the keyboard is fine, the trackpad is fine after I increased the sensitivity and scrolling speed, the internet connection is stable, and the battery life has been adequate. I'd say this ultra portable laptop was well worth the money, especially when BB has it on sale.

Working great so far
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Technical Specs: Processor is an Intel M3-6Y30 SSD is Samsung MZ-NLN1280 (PM871) Battery is Lenovo L14M4P73 7.6V 40Wh, 5270mAh 4gb memory soldered to mother board detailed Hardware Manual is available from Lenovo for the Yoga 700 11ISK Pros: Super compact, wanted an 11.6" display and no bigger, and full HD 1920x1080, which is not typical currently at this size format and sub $500 price point (on sale). With Windows 10 Home, works well. It is an M3 processor, so it is not a multi-tasking powerhouse. I have tuned the browsers I put on and Windows 10 for performance. It performs great if you do this, don't have a bunch of stuff up and running all at once, prevent videos from auto playing in web pages, scripts from running, and will help keep things running fast. Microsoft Office 2016 pro runs great on it. Have even tested running ArcGIS Desktop which ran fine. But important not to try and run too many applications at once, or have too many browser tabs and windows open, you will definitely notice the M3's capabilities when you do. Just tried the Audio which i had not really tried over the last week heavily. Plugged in a pair of Sennheiser HD 380 Pros, this thing has fantastic sound, very good. Added a Topping NX1 headphone amplifier between it and the headphone (not really needed), sound was fantastic, great clarity. No heavy charger uses a USB based charger. Battery seems pretty decent, but I also tune it for power conservation. Cons: Memory is soldered to the motherboard, so unlike ability to up the SSD size, you are stuck with the 4GB of memory. Finding it a little sluggish at times switching between notebook and tablet mode, but have not tuned that yet either. There may also be something related to the PCI slots/channels available on the M.2, so may not be able to take full advantage of any super high performance M.2 SSD's (e.g. EVO 950), may need to stick with EVO 850 for example, further research needed on this.

good computer for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been a mac user for years but wanted a change as I wanted a touch screen. This computer takes care of the computer side as well as the tablet side. The computer side is great with windows 10 but the first thing I did was download chrome which works great. The touch pad is not very responsive but no big deal as I use the touch screen anyway. The keyboard is small and takes some getting used to but now that I am used to it feels great. Tablet mode is great as I use it most of the time sitting on the couch and have it opened up in v shape to make it easy to use. Touch screen is very responsive and fast. Screen is awesome for this computer, watched movies on in and compared it to my macbook air which could not compare to it. I like the fact you can turn off tablet mode at any time. I bought this computer as a geek squad refurbished so it was well worth the money.

lots of errors
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the convenience of the 2 in 1. I love how light this computer is. It's fast to start. My complaints are that 1) the mouse in the keyboard doesn't always work well and 2) I get a driver error constantly. My screen will stop responding for a second or two and then a message will come up that my driver stopped responding and it has recovered. Super annoying
