Bought this laptop for my wife and it's a nice portable laptop, with good specs at a decent price. Only real downside is there's no backlit keyboard.

It is very portable, battery lasts hours, easy to use, keyboard is big enough, its fast and reliable. Perfect for my husband and his school work.

I bought this as an upgrade from my Transformer book (1st gen) which has been great, but 32GB is so very limiting even with a 128GB SD Card. I wouldn't think it would be so hard, but finding a decent keyboard has been the downfall of the mini laptop/2-in-1/Flip market. I get size means sacrifice, but not quite sure on some of the design ideas. I can still be extremely productive on a smaller screen and keyboard, but the key placement is well key in that productivity. On the Yoga 710 right side shift key is nowhere near the normal reach for the pinky finger. The rest of the keys are spaced accurately, but it is too hard to retrain where the shift key is. Looking over each time is quite slow. By comparison on the Transformer Book the right-side shift key is significantly smaller (as are all the keys) but at least it is positioned below and left of the ENTER key and again, not below and right of the ENTER key as in the Yoga 710. I did test the keyboard out at Best Buy before hand, but did not notice this difference in store. The other device I referenced is a tablet pc with removable dock. So the battery and everything is on the back side of the screen, so not used to heat on lap from under the keyboard as in with the Yoga 710. I made a few sacrifices off the bat as I knew 128GB wouldn't actually be enough space as formatted is always less and without a micro or SD card slot I would still not retain all of the files I keep on my current tablet pc with the 32GB + 128GB setup. I had to adjust the scroll pad settings via the installed 3rd party software as it kept registering a 2 finger scroll as a 3 finger scroll after about 10 minutes each session, in which 3 finger scroll minimizes everything and shows the desktop. Very annoying! Which I would normally just use the touch screen anyway, but was testing everything just to know. Lastly, which will seem odd, but I do have a gripe about the resolution. It may not be the fault of the laptop itself, but I found that having Full HD 1920x1080p resolution on a small screen is not all its cracked up to be. Yes turning it on and seeing the great crisp resolution was very exciting compared to my seemingly dingy un-crisp current device at 1366x768 tablet, but there are trade offs. Firstly, the default of the text, windows, and icons are set at 150% because running it at 100% is not conducive without binocular vision. This makes the icons look a little cartoonishily big in my opinion. Where it gets interesting is in 3rd party programs. In my situation Quickbooks. I knew it would be small already, but was not expecting it to be tiny. On the order of size 6 font. I tried messing with the system fonts, but it became a hit-and-miss really quick as to what effect it had on other programs. Windows even gives a warning when adjusting these settings that it may affect other programs. I tried putting it on a lower resolution but it gave all the text a very hazy glow about it. All in all it may be a limitation within quickbooks (using Quickbooks Online desktop version). Either way I bought it for a few reasons and turns out the longer I kept using the more compromises I kept making. Office suites seemed to be fine, only opened Excel and Word though. Battery life seems like it would render about 6 hours continuous use. I could easily recommend for surfing and sticking to general Microsoft software or items from the app store, but not too sure I can recommend past that as 3rd party software may not have as useable interface/experience that you are looking for. 2 stars may seem harsh and maybe it is, but 3 seemed too high to warrant a read of the review. Remember this is based off of my experience and needs. If I was simply getting online, emailing, maybe a very light game or two, I could easily give it 4 to 5 stars.

Its a great windows laptop/tablet and better than any iPad or microsoft ones.

I purchased this small laptop for traveling with my job, and so far it has performed to expectations. Not a lot of memory on this unit, but only needed enough for some apps and documents only for work. I would recommend this unit for anyone looking for decent performance in a small frame, especially if you only use it for web surfing/Facebook/ checking email, etc.

I purchased for this computer before school started. During the last semester, it was very useful and convenient to bring the school.

Bought this for my son to start taking college level courses. He likes it. Lot easier than carrying around a bulky laptop to take notes.

Originally I was going to the store with the intentions to buy a chromebook (I already have a 13" Acer I love) but when I saw this laptop and the specs along with the price, it made a lot more sense to buy something that I would not be so limited with. only things I wish it had, **back lit keyboard & fingerprint scanner** otherwise it was a purchase I'm glad I made.

This laptop has all of the latest features and software and was a very good buy for the price. It's very fast and has been easy to use.
