In fact, I like the product very much. It has a high performance and the screen is just absolutely beautiful. The shift key is not really a problem, it is just a matter of getting used to it. Something that really bothers me is: The fan and the touch screen. Unfortunately the fan sounds too much sometimes especially when I am in quite areas. Also the touch screen is not very responsive sometimes. I am trying my best to find a trick to make it function. Overall it is a nice computer. It is lightweight, the battery lasts a reasonable amount of time, writing is just beautiful since the keys are soft and the touchpad is really good too. Hopefully it will be a nice laptop for those of you who are buying it, just keep in mind the cons and how you can solve them. If you are not comfortable with it, then you can always buy another laptop. This is my first Lenovo laptop and I am giving it a try. You can do it too.

Within 1 year of purchase, I have to send it Lenovo service for various hardware issues. I bought an extended warranty at the end of the year and it again broke :(

This laptop was great when it wanted to turn on. Now my warranty is up and a laptop shouldn't have this issue in not even 2 years

Cheap price for a reason. As careful as I was the screen still ended up cracking from just closing it.

Couldn't get it to load on the internet even on the phone with geek squad.

Their is an internal problem with the screen showing dots all of a sudden.

Was looking for something to use to kill a few hours of traffic after work and this guy exceeded my expectations! Great battery life, beautiful finish, sharp ips screen with small bezels. I can see the complaints on the right shift button, but honestly I've never used that shift button before so it doesn't bother me! I was a bit hesitant to go with a 2 in 1 after having a Surface Pro 3 for a few years kind of turned me away from the tablet market, but honestly this is a much better solution for me. The keyboard is tight and definitely passes the "use in bed" test, which my SP3 was essentially useless for.

This is a great laptop, it's fast I can multitask on it and I love the touchscreen. They were out of stock at the store where I bought it. So, I drove to Wesley Chapel to pick it up. After checking everything out on it at home noticed that videos werent playing properly. Additionally, the audio recording wasn't working right. I updated the drivers gave it another day and still not working. So, had to spend more time taking it back to return and order another. I need this for school so the extra time was a hassle. All the Best Buy staff were nice Amr was great & informative. It's not Best Buy's fault just hardware issue. I love the size and weight of this laptop, the speed, battery life, so, maybe mine was a dud. This being the 1st Lennovo of mine deserves another chance. I will update my future review accordingly.

The laptop is very light and compact, but still durable. Very quick with the I5 processor and has a SSD, which is nice for the size. Keyboard is a little different and if I was using it solely for typing a lot then I may get more frustrated until I got adjusted to it. Overall, great value at this price range for the hardware you get.

I never ever write reviews for any products, but I just had to with people giving this computer 3 stars and one person giving it 1 star.... what a joke. Yes, Lenovo messed up with the right shift key, but that was their only mistake. The screen is beautiful, very vivid. It is super quiet, speakers are good, the key pad is super smooth, it's light weight, has blazing speed, and the touch screen is very responsive. I researched a lot for a laptop in this price range and screen size. There is an HP that is good and an Asus that's alright, I really don't like Dell's. But believe me!!! Best laptop you can buy in this price range.

Pros: -Beautiful screen/graphics -Extremely thin bezels, very compact (fits in 13.3" sleeves) -Very light, very portable -Gel keyboard cover and screen protector are available for this model Cons: -Awkward 'shift' key placement -Can heat up, fan can get somewhat loud (read more for details) I sold my Lenovo Ideapad Z510 15.6" in search of a lap top that was lighter weight and more portable. I loved my last Lenovo lap top, which is why I ultimately decided to try another one. After a long search, I eventually settled on the Yoga 710 14" with a 6th gen Intel i5 processor. First, I was extremely pleased with the deal I got at Best Buy. I got it for $550, since it was on sale and I got the student discount IN ADDITION to the sale. As far as the lap top itself, I am very pleased. It is very thin and light, but still has a 14" screen which is very nice. It runs very well and will handle most things very easily. As a student, I don't have any problems doing what I need to do. However, it may not serve you as well if you plan on gaming. I ran League of Legends on it, and it actually ran very well on high settings, staying at around 50-60 fps the whole time. However, the CPU got really hot after just a 25 minute game, and the fan had to kick in on high. I can't imagine playing games for long periods of time would be very good for the CPU at all. But, if you are looking for a portable laptop for college or just for casual use, I really recommend this one.

improvement on the Yoga 700 series. Screen is brighter, and dimensions are smaller. Bezel is small on the sides, so the width has been decreased by almost .5 inches. SSD Hard drive is fast, and the i5 is much faster than the same i5 in the Dell 7353. A little worried about possible scratches, but other then that I am impressed so far.

I think the display is the best feature of this laptop: the image is bright and crisp, and the touch screen feature is very convenient. I also like the speed, weight, keyboard back light, and the looks of it. I find it is a bit bulky when used as a tablet. The one feature that I am not fully satisfied with is the keyboard layout, specifically the page up/down and home and end keys which are combined with the direction arrow keys, thus requiring to use the function key in combination to be able to use them...

A beautiful, high quality laptop, that has a battery that lasts about 8 hours. Benches very similar to the other i5 laptops except the ssd seems to have write values about 30% higher. The only negative I have is that the fan seems to run too much in Win10 Anniversary whether on battery or plugged in. A hope there is a remedy for this.

Initial impressions: Overall, the Lenovo is pretty snappy and aesthetically pleasing. It's also light and good for general use. I'm basic user who generally uses a laptop for internet surfing, music/movies, and MS office products. Unfortunately, the only thing that is preventing me from giving it a solid rating is that the touch pad (even after checking that the driver that was on the computer was up to date) is funky. The two finger scrolling is fussy and not as responsive as it should be (the sensitivity level is as high as I can adjust it and I've played with the settings already). This is a pain point for me and defeats the purpose of an ultra portable laptop if I need to attach a mouse. Be weary of this laptop if you rely on the touchpad for use. Tablet use is sufficient, but overall prefer my iPad for those items.

I have been looking to get a new laptop for 6 months now. I am a second year college student and after my first semester realized I needed something with good battery life, was portable, and had good overall specs. I researched many machines and I consulted my friend in the tech department on a few different computers. He ultimately agreed this was the best bang for my buck without compromising on what I wanted or durability. I have not had it long yet but the set up was great, it is light, and seems to be high quality build. It feels very sturdy, even when I move the screen back. Charges up pretty fast as of now. I personally do not have any issues with the keyboard or trackpad like many reviewers, maybe just because I am not picky. Definitely recommend to college students!

I bought this laptop several days ago after it caught my eye at my local Best Buy. The near bezelless display and aluminum chassis made it very visually appealing. I was hesitant to replace my Macbook Air with a PC, but the specs on a Windows device at this price point was hard to ignore. After playing around with it for a while at home there are two things that really bugged me. First of all the trackpad was unbearably noisy. It made loud creaks and pops at even the slightest touches. The second thing is the shift key is tiny and was placed two keys over from where it naturally should be. I don't know why those "geniuses" at Lenovo thought this was a good idea, but it is quite frustrating. Overall, if you can get past these two annoyances, this is defiantly an excellent laptop and worth the price. I very like this laptop. It feel solid , fast working, good looking, exceptional screen quality, good battery, great value. I cannot say anything about the reliability, because I have it only for a 2 weeks so far. I cannot understand people who doesn't like it on their reviews. What else do you expect from your laptop ? Sorry, laptops cannot fly.

Everything about this laptop is amazing. The only issue is the annoying fan noise. It comes on too quick and is really loud. I installed a new driver for power management. There's another driver to be installed; however, after downloading it, my laptop doesn't install it. Many other people have this issue too and it needs to be fixed. I hope Lenovo updates the BIOS soon.

The laptop is fast, the look of it is sleek and modern, and touch screen is awesome. Yeah the right shift key is different but I've adjusted to it. Glad I purchased it when it was on sale!
