This is not acceptable, especially after spending so much money. I can live with having that right shift key at an wired place, but fan issue is annoying. Also on the touch pad, two finger right click does not work. Will be certainly returning this laptop if these issues are not fixed. I think best buy should stop selling lenovo products.

With regard to the right shift key positioning, there is a free software APP called KeyTweak that may help you. You can switch the key functions of specific keys on your keyboard with this software, so you could change the right shift key with the key you hit in its place. Just Google search "KeyTweak" and you will find articles about what the software does and you will find the download location for this free APP.

I am one of the otherwise proud owners of the YOGA 710 (from BESTBUY in August 2016) and this is the only issue that I have found with the laptop. Otherwise, simply excellent. But that fan is something else. Have the latest drivers. Have read all the complaints online. There is only one: THE FAN. Too bad.

Horrible keyboard layout

However, when I got the machine home and installed the Microsoft Office package and began to use the software I found the right shift key is not is the normal location. This makes typing on the keyboard next to impossible. I will be wasting my afternoon to drive to Bestbuy to request a refund and exchange for a different brand. I would recommend not to buy this laptop. With the keyboard layout it makes typing a document nearly impossible. WORST key board layout I have seen in 30 plus years of computer use!
