However, a week after I received the laptop I began to have black screen issues. I took it to the Geek Squad and they fixed it by re-downloading the Windows operating system. I also found out the microphone is defective and I must now use a headset to skype. So far it has worked well since then.

It's light and versatile to use as a tablet. The one thing I do hate is where the shift key is located on the right side of the keyboard. It's not located where it should be if you are a typist, instead it's the "up" arrow and very annoying. Wish I had noticed it before. The designer was probably the same person who planned the roads and parking lots in Charlotte.

You can switch the key functions of specific keys on your keyboard with this soft ware, so you could change the right shift key with the key you hit in its place. Just Google search "KeyTweak" and you will find articles about what the software does and you will find the download location for this free APP.

The not so great is the keyboard layout and key shape, the loud fan when it kicks in and the display hinge needing some extra stability. Overall it's as great laptop, but for someone who will use it to type alot, check out the keyboard 1st
