I just recently purchased this 2-in-1. I was debating between this and an HP Spectre, but when I saw this had double the RAM, and a better graphics card I figured I'd give the Yoga 710 a go. Pros: -Very lightweight for a 15" laptop -The display is amazing! -Very quick thanks to the i7 and the SSD Cons: -The fan. The very first time I booted it up, I heard the fan humming away. It's not really a true "hum" sound, but more of an old motor sound. It's very obnoxious. It constantly runs, even when I'm doing nothing. -The speakers are on the bottom of the laptop. I tested out some songs and videos and thought "This is kind of muffled sounding." After putting my ear up to the laptop, I discovered the speakers were on the bottom, like really?? They sound great if you lay the YOGA back on it's screen so the speakers face out, but otherwise it's very muffled. -As others have said, the shift key on the right side is very small. Even while typing this I managed to hit the "up arrow" many times causing me to type on the previous line. To truly use the right shift key, I need to basically remove my right hand from the keyboard to make it work. While everything about it is very nice on a first glance, it has far too many issues for me to want to keep it. I'd only recommend this if you were to buy other external speakers, and another keyboard to go with it, but that defeats the purpose of a laptop.

This computer is a good value buy, however, I recently returned mine. Yes, it was super fast and very stylish but it had no keypad and frankly I didn't even think to look for one. The main issue I returned it was because of the design of the right hand shift button. The button is smaller and out of position. If your left handed, this probably won't matter. The other reason was the power cord is about half the size of my old PC.

I bought this computer because I was beginning Grad school. I love how big the screen is and also how it is touch screen. This computer is a little heavy, but it is skinny. I love the keyboard and the layout of the computer settings/format. I think my favorite thing about this computer is how it is touch screen, but yet still has a keyboard so I can use both. Very versatile!

Bought that laptop 2 weeks back through student deal.I have to say for that price you can not find laptop with performance and quality.Best part about laptop is it has small edges around the screen making 15 inch laptop look like 14 inch.

I've had the item for about a week now and I completely love it! Great computer, qualifies for all my needs, there's just one thing that bugs me. When the computer is completely closed, it is offset. Now I want to know, is this normal for all the Yoga 710s, or is this a defect? I need to know ASAP because I leave to move in for college next Friday, the 16th.

I have been using this for a few months. I noticed it works perfectly fine. Except on occasions, the fan makes a lot of noise for sometime. I took it to best buy technicians and they say it is how it is. It may be coming up when it generates heat inside. Other than this problem, the product looks nice, with good quality.

Great laptop. I like design, but not so easy to open it. Almost every time I touch screen when I try to open it. Solid State drive can be bigger. I think keyboard is good, I don't have any issue with the right shift key. Battery life could be better. I do not think it was good idea to follow apple and make the same design of power adapter, which you have to plug into outlet. It blocks outlet and you have to have space between wall and table because adapter is big. Extension cord could be longer. But again, this is great laptop

Wanted a nice, sleek, and fast laptop with an SSD for my son to go off the college for. After student discount, got it for $699. Only had it for about a week and wish it was mine. I do a lot of photo editing and video editing. Did some preliminary testing with Adobe PS and AE, definitely not gonna cut it as your main work horse, but it does the job nicely for a light workload. For a laptop and at the price, you really can't beat this.

Speed is amazing and processor is fast. Laptop turn on very fast in just seconds.

Let me begin by saying this is a great computer; it's beautiful and sleek with great specs. However, I had the hardest time setting it up because this laptop cannot handle a bluetooth enabled mouse and remain connected to wifi. Hopefully, Lenovo will fix this problem in the future since there are only 2 USB ports and I hate to see one wasted on a mouse. Works wonderfully now.

Bought this PC when my daughter was a freshman in high school. She’s now a senior in college and still using it! Worth every penny.

Months later, I still Love this laptop and customer service was winderful!

Definitely not a gaming device. Works well for simple internet and document editing.

Happy with the brand new laptop until it refused to turn on after just about one month of use. I lost all my work. One star is already too generous.
