Excellent Mid-Range Convertible

The i5 with 8Gb is peppy, and the hinged tablet works great. Don't know about wear and tear, but this is an all-around workhorse. You'll want to try the Apple/Chicklet keys to see if they're your style. Small footprint is ultra-portable (think: iPad on the airplane) and it has good battery life in the first months. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent Upgrade from an Asus Transformer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this for my wife as an upgrade from her Asus Transformer T100HA which was not quite performing for her data crunching needs without sacrificing ultraportability. Now she has the power of an i5, twice the ram (from 4gb to 8gb) and the computer is barely larger that the 10" Transformer being replaced, since the latter had a very thick bezel in the screen (This portable laptop is 11" with a thinner bezel). It has a very solid build and my wife is loving it. Happy wife Happy life.
