I really wanted to love this laptop. The easiest way to break it down is by the pros/cons: —-Pros—- -Screen looks amazing, crystal clear, very uniform -Computer is light weight and portable -Extremely fast -Keyboard feels good (**See cons for a major design flaw) —-Cons—- -Touchpad was double clicking and when the case flexed I couldn’t click it down on the left side. Maybe I had a defective one? -The case seems to flex too much. And while opening the lid, it looks like someone is pressing on the bottom corners of the screen. -Battery life is no where near the MacBook Pro 13” I decided to get instead. They’re rated near the same, but I was disappointed in how long the battery lasted. -Keyboard right shift key is half the normal size. Look at the pictures, I ended up having to reprogram the up arrow to the shift key. I have no idea how this happened... —-Summary—- Overall it’s not a bad machine and I’m sure lots of people will really like it. However, I couldn’t get past the cheap feel, touchpad issues and design flaws. I’d say try it out if your not too picky and you don’t mind reprogramming your up arrow for the shift key. And if you always use an external mouse, you should be good. Hope his review helped you out a little bit, take care.

Sleek, fast, light and has a very good screen. The yoga mode is very useful. Have used it for a couple of months now and have had no issues.

this is our second Lenovo, bought it for my wife. love the touch screen and heavy duty hinges. solid state hard drive makes this almost indestructible, battery life is great too.

This is a very nice and slick laptop. Super thin and lightweight. Its Intel Core i5 and solid state drive also make it a very fast computer. I also love the touch screen. It's nice and spacious and I can select and move things with my fingers. It doesn't have a lot of hard drive space though so keep that in mind if you are a gamer or have tons of music and videos. Otherwise it's great for working, surfing, and general applications. The only thing I'm still having trouble with is the size and placement of the right-shift key. It's weird. Great PC for the value! I have used it for 2 weeks so I have no comment on its durability/long term use.

Bought this 2-1 Laptop on sale black Friday for $599. Could not pass up this machine based on specs, construction and price. Replaced a 10 year old15" MacBook Pro with this machine so I could try using a Windows 10 machine after abandoning Microsoft Windows the past 10 years. Hopeful Microsoft Windows10 will be a positive experience. The only complaint is the same as others regarding the right side Shift Key size and location, but it's something I can get use to or even modify the keyboard functions if needed with a software utility to reassign key function if needed.

I’ve had this laptop for a little over a month. It’s almost perfect with the exception of three things. I’m not a fan of opening it. I find it difficult to literally “unfold” it. It’s slim design is almost too slim to open. The second thing is the power button. It’s on the outer right side. I haven’t had any accidental turn ons, but it is slightly awkward to press it. The third and it’s probably more of me being used to my old laptop, but the right shift key is further away than a normal keyboard due the to placement of the arrow keys. Those are my only reasons for taking a star away. They are pretty minor and I wouldn’t let them stop me from buying or recommending this laptop. It’s super fast due to the SSD and I love it. The screen and screen size is amazing. If you’re looking for a fast reliable laptop, at a price that’s very reasonable, do not pass this one up!

I wanted to upgrade from entry level computers that need frequent replacements. The solid state drive is fast, quiet and doesn’t heat up. The limited storage can be addressed with flash drives. I do mostly word processing and writing reports in Word so popping in a flash drive works for my files. I haven’t had the computer long enough to know what will happen to storage after transferring iTunes and other programs. The touch screen is nice except when you accidentally touch the screen while using the keyboard. I have a habit of putting my left hand on the side of the monitor while reading text. If my thumb touches the screen it will shift to a different window. The size is nice to work with but it is very tight sliding into the computer sleeve section in my under seat luggage computer. It’ll fit but it takes some maneuvering. This is not a reason to avoid it unless you need to slide it in and out frequently on an airplane and have the under seat piece of luggage that Walmart sells for around $35. Overall I am pleased with it but still acquainting myself with its features.

This computer is awesome. First, the battery lasts for a long time which is important since I take it to school. The screen is large enough that viewing ebooks is much easier. It's also great when watching netflix! The backlight on the keyboard makes working in a dark room much easier. The computer is fast which I appreciate when I have multiple tabs open. I would recommend this computer !

I am an IT professional by trade. Bought this for my girlfriend who will be using it for schoolwork, web browsing, and streaming. Out of the box the machine was zippy; but after a fresh Windows install and bare minimum Lenovo drivers/Yoga programs this will boot to desktop in 8 seconds. Pros: Screen, battery life, and performance have all been excellent for the price point. Keyboard is better than most consumer laptops. Cons: I would have accepted a slightly heavier/pricier laptop for a stronger chassis. There is just a bit of flex and play when rotating the Yoga, nothing gut-wrenching but it is there. Hinges seem good, but I'm not 100% sold yet.

I haven't had any issues with this computer except for the fact that the fan is a bit loud. If it were not for that, I would have given it the five stars. Have had it for only a few months, but it is pretty fast and the charge lasts a long time. All in all a good buy.

While this is a discontinued Lenovo model, it is far from obsolete. This is my first SSD. The difference between the SSD and an HDD is like night and day. It's lightning fast. Boot time is seconds, not minutes. The display is bright and clear, the lighted keyboard and fingerprint log in is a plus. It's a 2-in-1 touch screen, but in reality, it's just too big to be used as a tablet. The chassis is smooth and sleek aluminum, not cheap plastic. My only complaints are that the right shift key is too small, misplaced, and easy to miss. Later models have corrected this issue with a split up/down arrow. Here's my biggest beef. The Wi-Fi signal drops intermittently. I'm not a geek, so I don't want to try to go into settings to try to fix this. There should be a patch provided by Lenovo by now. These problems aside, for the money, (I paid $599) there's nothing else out there that will give you as much for the price.

I really like the versatility of this little laptop where the screen can move so much. Response is quick. No problems connecting. Good sound. Love the touchscreen. My only problem is that my right pinky hits page up when I intend to hit shift on this keyboard.

This laptop is the one I have been waiting for a long time. It performs the way I have always thought a laptop should. It does everything I ask of it, and I don't have to wait. The screen is bright and crisp, keyboard is awesome, and overall look and feel is solid and beautiful. A really great laptop computer.

I bought this laptop November 14th and today is December 8th. Within the first week of me getting the laptop it started to have issues. When I turned it on the logo would appear and then the screen would just go black, nothing else. The keyboard would go unresponsive so there was nothing I could do besides hold the on/off button to shut it down. Now this happened to me 3 times in one day. After googling it said to try removing the battery but I can’t unless I use a screwdriver; which I won’t be doing. I didn’t have anything downloaded, it was seriously brand new. It hasn’t done it again so I’m so glad but if it does I’ll be sure to take it in to geek squad. Other than that I love the speed on this thing! It’s so fast and the two in one tablet part is by far my favorite. I play steam games on it often and it’s alright for simple games. The FPS isn’t so great as it’s not made for gaming but it gets by. You’ll just have to change some in game settings like resolution. It has its issues but what laptop doesn’t?

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas, so I've not used it much. I did open it and fire it up to make sure all updates were installed and the battery would be charged for when she opened the gift. Found it odd that the battery came completely discharged. It did charge quickly and updates were a breeze. It's a large computer, but very lightweight. More screen than she needs, but I thought I might use it some too, so the 15.6" screen is a good size for me. The touch screen is definitely an added bonus. I think she will love Cortana. I will say I went through the entire set up, including Wi-Fi and when set up was complete and it went to the windows desktop screen, it said there was no internet connection, so setting that up initially seemed pointless since I had to do it twice.

I got this laptop on Black Friday for 600 bucks. It is really fast and productive. If you want a fast sleek laptop with amazing SSD drive, this laptop is for you. 8 GB is enough RAM and love the graphics and SSD speed. The processor is swift and no noise from the laptop. Amazing purchase.

I love how fast it is. I was sceptical at first when the sales guy told me how fast it would be and that it would be good for my line of work, but I got it anyway because you could not beat the price with everything it had to offer. I'm glad I did listened.
