Since Best Buy didn't have the HP model I wanted I decided to go with the Lenovo 710. Very light and portable. Has Windows 10 and seems to handle everything I need in a computer. I don't watch movies on here so I didn't feel spending the extra money to get the Ultra HD feature. I did purchase a mouse soon after because I was not comfortable using the keypad but it's different for everyone . Has a 256 ss drive which I wanted.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 710-15. With regard to the touchpad, you can make adjustments to the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad.

Trouble from the start

Keep getting pop ups even though I installed the security program they recommended. Won’t keep google as my homepage, keeps pushing Edge. Never does quite what you want it to do. And they moved the shift key on the right side. Regretting this purchase.

Posted .It sounds like there was a problem with the initial activation of Windows 10 or incompatible software was loaded. Be sure any programs you load are compatible with Windows 10. This system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the left side of the device, right near the headphone jack on the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. Additionally, with regard to the right shift key issue you mention, there is a free software APP called KeyTweak that may help you. You can switch the key functions of specific keys on your keyboard with this software, so you could change the right shift key with the key you hit in its place. Just Google search "KeyTweak" and you will find articles about what the software does and you will find the download location for this free APP.
Solid Product

I love that it didn't come preloaded with a lot of bloatware. The one flaw is that the right hand shift key is in an awkward position so you have the tendency to hit the up arrow instead of shift. It's aggravating but not a deal breaker. This is still a great value and worth a long hard look if you're in the market for a new laptop.

So far so good

It is a little slower than I would like and I'm only using it for document creation. I major down fall for me is that there is no Ethernet connector, you have to purchase an adapter for this and to me that's inconvenient seeing as how the office I work at does not offer wifi so to security needs.
