Serious issues with the hinge, DON'T BUY!

I think that's as much one can expect from a laptop in this price range. That said, I count myself fortunate to have gotten that much use out of this laptop. Roughly 3.5 years in, the laptop's hinges started to peel away from the lid of the laptop, and ultimately shattered the bottom left corner of my screen. I have never dropped the laptop, and I've rarely rotated the screen. It seems to be a common issue to this model -https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-Yoga-Series-Notebooks/Yoga-710-broken-hinge/m-p/4086743?page=4. Given how serious an issue this is, I would NOT recommend purchasing this laptop.

When I am pushing where the shift button is on every other keyboard in the world, i push the shift key instead. Very frustrating. The mouse pad is very sensitive and i end up making font larger and smaller as i try to move the pointer around.

You can switch the key functions of specific keys on your keyboard with this software, so you could change the right shift key with the key you hit in its place. Just Google search "KeyTweak" and you will find articles about what the software does and you will find the download location for this free APP. With regard to the touchpad, you can make adjustments to the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad.

It is easy to use, with the exception of the shift key on the right, it is a little wide for basic keyboard placement and I often miss it when typing. I would recommend for a casual user.

The only issue is you can't let battery complete out, it happen to me once and it won't reboot, I took it to repair and they told me this issue is very common, he also seem others computer has this issue.

It is the only thing I found wrong with this model. It is a big deal though if you type a lot. I never would have chosen this if I had noticed when I bought it.

It served me well through my college experience but after about a year, the screen started to flicker. Eventually the screen died entirely. I’m sure it could be repaired but I haven’t the time or means to make that happen right now.

Great Laptop

My only concern is that while playing Netflix or Youtube, if I full screen the show, after about 20 minutes playing in full screen mode the entire laptop will freeze and shut itself off.. Something I will have checked out soon, but other than that one issue I love this computer!

As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. Love Lenovo Solid State

My only gripe is there are only 2 USB ports and no Ethernet port. I bought for my work computer and did not think about checking for these features cause my last LT had 4 USBs. Then I realized I would need to buy accessories to increase my ports.
