Great laptop, 1 flaw

The shift key on the right is at a farther position to reach than any other keyboard I've used. I don't think I would have purchased it with this flaw. Other than that, it seems to be a great laptop.

Posted .With regard to the right shift key issue you mention, there is a free software APP called KeyTweak that may help you. You can switch the key functions of specific keys on your keyboard with this software, so you could change the right shift key with the key you hit in its place. Just Google search "KeyTweak" and you will find articles about what the software does and you will find the download location for this free APP.

I had it for almost two weeks and returned it because I didn't have much a of a need for it. I like the overall look and feel of the laptop. The keys were responsive, but did don't come flush in tablet mode (I already knew that based on the reviews).

Very Nice Machine

Performance is great. Boot time is incredibly fast. Love the fingerprint login. Great laptop to take to business conferences, travel or sitting in the living room with this on you lap while you relaxing in a recliner (as a write this). Streaming to my Samsung TV is awesome too.

Switched from Macbook Pro

It has me considering dumping my iPad next, to be honest. The screen is beautiful, the portability is great, and it's just incredibly functional. My only qualms with this particular computer is the up arrow being sandwiched between the "?" and right shift key. It occasionally trips me up.

It has a nice 15.6 inch screen, decent graphics and a nice keyboard. A little disappointed in the antenna range for wifi compared to my old Think Pad but I bought an extender and it now works great

Follow the link below to look for new driver updates for your specific system. You can also run diagnostics from the Lenovo site as well. As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. You can do this by just typing "restore point" in the search window within Cortana and follow the link to create a restore point. Here is the link:

BUT I accidentally deleted my d drive where all the driver info is "hidden" on windows 10 when trying to do the highly suggested backup upon start up. I have all sorts of computers and tablets and have never had a difficult time creating a recovery back up until now. It is very difficult to find trusted info on how to recover this....even on Lenovo's website. Thank goodness I bought the 2 yr geek squad support ...I took it in to them and now they are trying to recover it and do the backup. keeping my fingers crossed as I have not even used this computer yet!! I am not recommending right now as I have not been able to use it yet. Maybe I was just a dork deleting it...but I saw on forums that others have made same mistake, so must not just be me.

My wife has a MacBook Pro but i didn't want to spend that much. The old laptop took forever to boot up. I'd have to leave the room because I couldn't stand the wait. This Lenovo boots up in less than 5 seconds. Also love the fingerprint sign on. This meets all my work/personal needs at 1/3 the cost of a new Mac Pro.
