Now the unattached hinge is separating the screen from the back of the laptop causing display issues. Happens after warranty. Went from a great buy to close to on the verge of busted in minutes. No screws to get into the laptop to fix it either.

The screen blacks out and the machine becomes unusable!! My college student was unable to use it reliably at school and I had to buy a new machine a year later as this one is now out of warranty. I will NEVER buy another Lenovo.

Powerful Fast & Affordable Laptop

I am so far pleased overall with my purchase so far. The SSD is lightning fast and boot time is really fast. The touch screen feature is nice, as is the backlit keyboard. No need to enter a password with the built in fingerprint reader, a nice feature not found on most other brands. The display quality is good, but doesn't measure up to 4K, but then again, 4K will set you back another $500. I personally can live without it. Now for the cons: The right shift key is too small and easy to miss, there is no numerical keyboard, and you practically need a crowbar to open the lid. You definitely cannot open this laptop with one hand. Still the pros outweigh the cons.

You can switch the key functions of specific keys on your keyboard with this software, so you could change the right shift key with the key you hit in its place. Just Google search "KeyTweak" and you will find articles about what the software does and you will find the download location for this free APP.

Initially battery was fine but after 6 months the battery life is only 2-3 hours. Fan running noise is loud and internet is very slow. WiFi works fine with my iPhone but not with this laptop. After all this now i have screen flickering issue. every 30 seconds screen flickers. Have contacted customer care no responses yet. Stay away from this garbage product

This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

Posted .This is a good mid-level 2 in 1 device. It provides good speed with its Intel Core I-5 processor, 8GB RAM and a 256GB solid state hard drive. This Windows 10 Home 64-bit system would be good for general workloads, including business programs, web browsing and streaming. If this describes your workload, this would be a good choice.

You will hit the up arrow instead of shift and this will cause you to take twice as long to send a basic e-mail. Not sure what genius decided to change the standard keyboard, but I took this computer back in 2 Days and bought the MacBook.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you had a problem with the recent Windows 10 update. This system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the left side of the device, right near the headphone jack on the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. If the problem persists after the factory reset, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

Posted .You can adjust the screen brightness by right clicking on the Windows 10 desktop and selecting "Display settings" in the window that appears. First be sure that "Change brightness automatically" is turned off. Then be sure the brightness level is set you your liking.
