Keyboard is so uncomfortable! I wouldn’t recommend.

Great laptop. I love the 2 in 1 feature. This computer is fast, I️ love the quick start. The touch screen is awesome.

The display is bright and brilliant. Laptop is ultra-thin, about a fourth the thickness of the HP laptop from my work. Superfast. The SSD definitely helps. Best laptop I have ever owned! I have a Lenovo Yoga tablet which also has a great display. Thanks Lenovo for making such great products.

Overall, a great laptop. With an HD Led screen that is 15", it is easy on my eyes. Fast set-up, and fast start-up and restart. The laptop feels substantial and quality. And the price at Best Buy was great, where I saw no other 15" HD laptops. The bezel is slim so that keeps a larger screen space and allows a smaller lighter laptop overall. The sound is very good so I no longer use external speakers. It has fewer slots than my old laptop, but more than most of the 2-in-1 newer laptops. 2 usb 3.0, 1.normal size memory card, a micro hmdi (connect to tv and such), sound. I assume this is to keep the laptop light and let people choose what other features they need and will add. I added a usb network adapter 5 ghz (wireless), a usb ethernet adapter (for wired connection which is what I use at home as it is consistently faster). I also have a usb extender to add my wireless mouse and keyboard. I keep the wireless keyboard on my lap as it is very light and I put the laptop on a footstool - all for ergonomic reasons and lets me sit back on the couch using it. I Installed some apps and all seem to work fine. This includes MS Office business (a one-time cost not the subscription), so I get Outlook 2016, and these updated apps are much nicer over the 2007 version. The two issues I have are: 1. wireless. I only get 2.4 ghz even though this is supposed to also support 5 ghz. I did have the connection drop, so I instead use the usb network adapter. At home I use the usb ethernet connected adapter. 2. The touchpad mouse has very frequent phantom clicks that clicks random things when I did not click, and I deleted a file not meant to be deleted. (I read a lot of brands have this problem, not just Lenovo). Lenovo support said to download and install the latest driver, I did but the year stayed 2016, not the 2017 it said at the lenovo download page (which does not identify the brand of the driver - when I did the update it had two - elan and ms - and I chose elan as that is the brand touchpad). I instead use the usb wireless mouse and changed settings so the touchpad does not work if the wiretess mouse is connected.

My last laptop was a heavy, 8lb Dell Inspiron 15R. Before I begin, I'll say that I've had this Lenovo Yoga for one and a half months now, so a good amount of time to discover its pros and cons. I love how this Lenovo Yoga is lighter, sleeker, aesthetically pleasing, a bit faster, has more storage space, has a built-in SSD, and has a much nicer-looking/sharper display. Some downsides: this laptop, while more expensive than my last old one (which was at least a 4-year-old model), actually has a FAR worse battery (it barely lasts 5 or 6 hours), and what's worse is the charging cable is SO UNBELIEVABLY SHORT. It's almost like they don't want you to charge it, you have to basically sit right next to an outlet for it to reach the outlet. So far the WiFi seems reasonably strong, and I love how it folds back, although when I'm using it on the bus and the bus goes over bumps, the screen often moves back on it's own because it's designed to move very easily and fluidly, but almost too much so. There's only 2 USB ports which is surprisingly limiting. The fingerprint scanner is very cool and works decently. Wish it had a number pad in the keyboard layout. The touchscreen works fine, although occasionally it has trouble when I'm switching it between tablet and laptop modes. The touchpad is ok, but very awkward (the right and left clicks are included in the touchpad portion, which makes for tons of mistaken clicks; I HAD to get a mouse, or I was going to go crazy). Finally, the fan inside is EXTREMELY loud, even though I've pushed all the updates (including Lenovo updates, and even the power update that should've fixed the problem). People have complained a lot about the power button on the side being annoyingly placed, but I just always make sure to place it in my bookbag on the other side. All in all, definitely a budget ultrabook.

After going back and forth between this computer and a similar HP, I chose the Yoga because of the solid state hard drive. When I opened up the computer and actually started typing, I could not stand the keyboard - at all. I suddenly found that I solely use my right hand for the shift key and that key on this computer is in a very awkward place, far to the right of the keyboard. It is out of reach, small, and not in the same place as any other keyboard. I read a few reviews online where Lenovo suggested downloading a software to change the key to one closer. Still shocked at this oversight, I changed the key but it was still an issue. Unfortunately, I returned this laptop for one with a more standard keyboard. Hopefully Lenovo will correct this issue by the time I need another laptop..

OK sure the keyboard has flaws, for the price and performance it is acceptable. (I am used to a 10 key and larger right shift key). I do not know if you can even purchase this hybrid laptop any longer. Backlit keyboard, touch screen, ssd . Whomever bags on this laptop needs to spend thousands to get what they want. Most likely will not find it. If you do and not have a complaint ,I give you my congratulations!

Going on 7 years and just now having to think about getting a new one. I did have to get a new charger after 6 years but I’d say that’s pretty good considering I use it daily. Got me through college and the last few years of my career!

I recently purchased this laptop on Black Friday Deal. Let's check some cons as everybody would focus on pros 1. Screen is coming out of body; top-center screen is coming out of aluminium body. As this laptop can be used as tablet, you have to be very very careful when converting it to tablet. 2. Lower version of lenovo has in-built miracast but with this laptop you will not be able to project to wireless display like smart TV(though Sony Bravia has in-built miracast reciiver) 3. If you are used to a long shift key then with this laptop there gonna be finger and palm pain as right shift key is at not correct place.

Pros -Quite, Fast, boots up in 3 secs so far, screen is crisp, HD, Battery life without video - 8 hours and still had 10% left, lightweight. Cons - Key placement is different than most of the laptops i have used, so got to get used to it. Overall, i am really happy with this computer

/After paying so much for a laptop, I wish I got these features in them too. The keyboard takes lil time to get used to, but its alright. This device does not have any face recognition and windows hello feature, I am guessing. Please correct me if I am wrong, or let me know why you do not have this feature in it?

I bought this laptop in 2018 and it was the best decision I have ever made. The 2in 1 flexibility is so useful. I did not experience any type of flickering of the screens like most reviews are saying. The keyboard is super sleek and you don't even feel like your typing sometimes. This laptop has a super long battery life and I love the storage capacity as well. This laptop has held me down since college in 2018 and I am still using 4 years later. However, looking for a new computer now because I spilled water on the keyboard portion. currently looking for a similar laptop like this one.

I recently got water damage on my MacBook pro with the touch bar and I am finally able to buy a new laptop. Purchased this laptop the exact same specs with less than half the cost, and have never been happier. Works even better than my MacBook.

Bought it for my wife, but now we both want it. We do have 4 other laptops for home, office, and travel needs. This one is my favorite. Battery life - amazing 6 hours. The power connector is the same USB-C 3.1 that all my phones use, so i can reuse the adapter. Screen quality is awesome. Anyway, I am looking for a deal to buy another one.

The laptop was great. It had held up for over six years. Lenovo makes some pretty tough laptops and this one has been through it all and is still working.

This is a quality machine that I would recommend. However, there are some things to reckon with: The power button is horrible if you have stubby fingers and no fingernails. The SSD is not as fast as I expected and there is faint intermittent fan noise. The keyboard - it's easy to hit the cap lock and the right shift key is hard to find. It slippery to pick up wanting to slide out of my hand - I am 73. Pros: love the screen and touch system; the video & speaker quality; the trim size, the 2 in 1 capability; its lightness. I am happy with it over all.

Very happy with my 2 in 1 Lenovo laptop computer. Does everything I need and had a great price for all the features. Mostly use it for work...use MS Office alot, Internet, email, videos come up very clear and fast with great sound. I am not a gamer....so cannot comment on that. Big Plus: has a 256 solid state drive. One thing I don't like is on/off button is hard to press. But overall a great computer for the price. You get a lot for the money. Best Buy staff was great in helping me select this computer for my family's needs.

Bought this as a replacement for my old Lenovo Y550P (purchased in 2009 - still running, even with Windows 10). Love the slim profile of the Yoga 710, sharp 15.6" display, flip/tablet functionality, and *especially* the SSD. Processing speed is good and 8GB RAM is surprisingly fine for multitasking without any lags. Strongly recommend.

Computer is very fast thanks to the ssd drive, and the touch screen and table most are more useful than I expected!
