I use it for school and it does everything I need it to do.

I needed laptop for my online teaching needs. For the price, it is perfect.

After being out of the IT world for 15 years, i needed to do some research online and speaking with friends on what would best suit my needs ...the 2 times i came into the store before deciding to purchase, the people were helpful and knowledgeable. This laptop is awesome! Love the hybrid touchscreen and keyboard combination, the way the laptop folds so it can "sit"on its keyboard while in tablet mode...very happy!

I wish it had a 10-key on the side! Just have to get used to this slightly quirky keyboard.

I had gotten this as an emergency computer for college and it runs smoothly and plays games pretty smoothly. Since I do a lot of rendering and 3D modeling, it runs the programs I use smoothly, but eventually I want to upgrade to a beefy desktop computer. For my classes, though, it got the job done in a timely manner.

Fantastic speed, awesome speakers, superb screen. I grabbed it from best buy at a great sale price. It must have been going off the shelves soon. Something I really dig is even though it's a 15.6" screen, it doesn't include a number pad so the mouse pad is still centered to the lap top. As others have mentioned, the only quirk is the small shift button on the right side found to the right of the up arrow.

I had originally purchased an open box item of this computer, which was a good deal. The solid state drive makes it incredibly fast at startup. However I experienced issues with the WiFi card, as it would disconnect from my home network occasionally, and the battery life was bad. It would drain, even while the computer was off. I went back to Best Buy to exchange the computer, and got another one. The one I have now seems to be new out of the box. The battery issues are gone. However, I still experience the network issues from time to time, and sometimes the touch screen does not respond, until I restart the computer. This is the reason why I am giving it 3 stars, as I was not expecting issues with a new computer, more so of this price range. Since it is still within the holiday return period, I have considered taking it back as these two problems should not be occurring.

it was a returned laptop; son has been using it just fine for school. No complaints.

There was a lot of reading to do before I could start, I imagine most computers would have this but I never click on anything without reading the information. It would be nice if it was more concise. Once I got past that, the instructions were quite clear about how to proceed. I'm pleased with my purchase.

Touch screen is very nice...this is used as a personal computer...portable...love it!

I ordered this laptop while looking for a 14" model because of the small footprint due to the thin bezels I went with this larger 15.6" and I definitely don't regret it. For the price this laptop is hard to beat the screen is beautiful and the Nvidia 940mx is a big plus. Haven't had a problem with it after a few months. I travel with it often it's footprint is very close to my 14" Thinkpad.

I bought this laptop about 1 month ago. I had never used touch screen computers before but am now hooked. The NVIDIA graphics card is an added bonus since I play some games on my PC but never had on a lap top feeling that the experience would be compromised, but it is not at all with this card. Very fast computer, cool finger print sign in, beautiful clarity and colour. Very happy with this purchase.
