Good 7 hours bactery backup on average . Only cons I could fine is smudges you get on screen (which can be removed though) and sound. But you can't expect everything at such a fabulous deal thanks to bestbuy!

Posted .Be sure that any programs you have installed are compatible with Windows 10. If there is no incompatible software on the device, there may be video driver updates for your specific system. Follow the link below to look for new driver updates for your specific system. You can also run diagnostics from the Lenovo site as well. As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. You can do this by just typing "restore point" in the search window within Cortana and follow the link to create a restore point. Here is the link:

It is fast, light, and easy to use. One of the only problems that I have had with this computer is that when I change tabs, it lags when loading the previous information. Overall, a great purchase.

I enjoy the machine itself--when it works. I passed the 2 week return window during which it was only having minor glitches. Then it started freezing or shutting down regularly, having to do a hard re-boot each time. I've been on the Lenovo Community where tech support walked me through several days' diagnostics, only to say "It's probably a hardware issue. Contact Customer Service." This seems like the type of issue I was reading about in the 710/910 that was supposedly taken care of. Frustrating, but I'm going to see what Best Buy will do tomorrow, as they've always been good in the past to take care of issues.

Posted .Since the issue you describe happened two weeks into your use of the device, it sounds as though there was trouble with an automatic Windows 10 update. This system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the left side of the device, right near the headphone jack on the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files.

Needed something for school that met the minimumschool requirements and this exceeds that. This is not an entry level computer but mid range in terms of price but the differences between the two were well worth the extra $200.

It is very lightweight and the speed is reasonable. The only thing that bothered me was that there is only one USB port and the other port is USB type c. If you're willing to buy an adapter than you should be fine with this laptop.

I'm a CS junior and for my school and personal uses it's been just as good with the added convenience of the touch/fold screen. I would like to see how it'd be with a good stylus, I haven't gotten to try that yet.

Small, lightweight, and met all of the requirements for college. Disappointed that it only had one USB port. Didn't realize this until after purchase. Wish it had at least one more.
