Good for illustrator and photoshop basic stuff. Only one standard USB port. The bamboo pen works really well to make notes.

In addition, I got a pen, so signing documents is a breeze now. The only thing I'm missing is the sd card reader, other than that, it's perfect.

It had a slower processor and just wasn't performing up to my expectations. I spent considerable time looking at the various models and brands and kept coming back to the Yoga 720 because of price and features. It seemed to have the right balance of speed, features, and size compared to the other models I was looking at. I wish it had a little more run time on battery power, but I realize there is a tradeoff between size, weight, and battery life. It's averaging about 6 hours on battery power which I find adequate for my needs. The screen is excellent, it works in a screen drawing mode with the optional pen, and it is the perfect size and weight. Overall, I feel it was an excellent choice.

You can do this in the control panel, in the power management category on your system. Select a more conservative power management setting to extend battery life.
