If you are getting substantially less battery life and you are not doing heavy computing, check to see if there are unwanted processes/programs running in the background on your device. Here is a link to instructions to check for background programs within the Task Manager:

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Not as good as an XPS from Dell or the higher end, but when stacked against the Inspiron or HP 360's it may be the best. Keyboard is a little stiff. Screen could be a bit brigher. Battery could last a bit longer but for its price its a great value. The positives are outstanding color on the screen, not bright but covers a lot of color hear, no washed out faded look. The SSD and CPU are well mated for fast performance. Its all USB C so keep that in mind as you'll be in dongle world with this one. Only wish would be a better battery. Another 2 hours vs the 5-6 hours you get would be better.

Nice piece for under $500. I have become so reliant on it, I decided to purchase this Yoga as a backup for stage and also to use with my Microsoft 365 account. This little guy screams! Sleeker than the HP and unbelievable much quicker. Two years in technology and a few hundred bucks more and I am blown away. This thing boots up in about 30 seconds and I have yet to see the infamous blue screen lock out. With 365, I can work anywhere in the world!

The great thing about the yoga is the sleek style. It just looks good for a laptop. Not bulky, just beautiful. The one and only complaint so far is that I’m a constant user of the right sided shift key. On this layout they took half of the shift key away to use the space for the up arrow. That’s probably not an issue for most but for me it would definitely hamper my WPM if I were typing long documents. But that’s not what I bought it for so I give it 4 stars for being great.

Amazing laptop with bad battery life

It is so flexible, lightweight and with a sleek design and good keyboard. It even has a fingerprint sign-in option which is great. I got it with the bamboo ink pen so it just makes it better. However the only down side is the battery, the battery can't really last 8 hours like what it says on the website, if you use it continuously, it probably last for about 4-5 hours max, which didn't meet my expectation. I wish this laptop has a better battery life, then it would be a perfect laptop for me.

To get the maximum battery life, try changing your power management setting to a more conservative one. You can do this in the control panel, in the power management category on your system. Select a more conservative power management setting to extend battery life.
