This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window. Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

There are hundreds for free instructional videos there about Windows 10. Just type Windows 10 Introduction in to the YouTube search window. You can watch free videos there that will show you the basics all the way up to tips and tricks videos and they're all free.

But, 4 weeks in, I got a redline down the middle of the screen and brought it into the Tysons store to have it fixed. First diagnosis by Geek Squad- gotta be the driver. Tried to update. That didn't work. Then, it must be a cracked screen. So, now the nearly brand new laptop has to be shipped to the Lenovo authorized repair center (and I was constantly reminded that Best Buy and Geek Squad are the "only ones" authorized to fix Lenovo's) for 3-5 weeks. Who in their right mind has 3-5 weeks to be without a laptop? Was reminded by the manager's that had the line appeard within 14 days of owning the laptop, could have brought it back in and exchanged it on the spot. They also reminded me that had I purchased the extended warranty, it could have been fixed right away. But, then they admitted it still would take 3-5 weeks even if Ihad bought the warranty because they really can't do the repair there. The incredibly unhelpful staff then added "don't you have or need a second laptop? We could sell you one." At which point I had had enough of their absolutely horrible service, and walked out. What's important to add is that I was on my way to buying a $3K television today at Best Buy, and only stopped off because I assumed this could be fixed quickly. It didn't, and as such, they lost a $3K sale. For anyone's benefit, MicroCenter in Fairfax fixes Lenovo's, and they were able to knock this out right away. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE, OR FROM BEST BUY AGAIN! The guy who sold this thing to me was awesome, but the folks who tried to fix it were just a new low. They particularly kept on saying "these are your options. Then gave me a single choice- ship it back. BTW- also posted this review to Yelp to make sure others know how bad the service here is.
