Disappointed in the lack of durability....my keys on the keyboard are failing; thus, I am forced to use the on-screen keyboard to type three keys. With one of the bad keys being the letter "R," it's a royal pain in the u know what to deal with. This laptop never leaves the house. I am retired and use this laptop for email, Amazon shopping, and a few Word or Excel documents...in short, very low and infrequent use. It is certainly not over used or abused. I would not buy this laptop again

I gave it 3 stars because I frequently get a blue shut down screen that pops up. It runs my Adobe Photoshop really well though with no lag so that is a huge plus for me.

I really like this laptop but I started having screen and keyboard light issues after one year... keyboard light does not work at all.

Good laptop, sleek, fast, very trendy. Only problem I have is where is the stylus pen?? the box for it was included but the pen was missing. Cant they offer it too???

I do not usually write reviews, but after using this laptop for over a week I must leave a detailed review so it helps individuals to make their opinion. I am a researcher who spends 10+ hours a day on his computer. I run-heavy datasets and different analysis. Some datasets are over 3-4gb. My old laptop used to crash every time I ran the analysis, but this laptop is a beast. I have not had any issues with it so far. Please read the following areas where I describe this laptop. Initial quality: it is built like a tank. No issues at all. It is also a pretty laptop, but mainly it is a good steady machine that does not bend or make any weird noises. Performance: this laptop has i7 core, and not one of those regular mobile ones you find on XPS 13, Spectre, or other laptops. This laptop has gamers laptop i7 quad-core processor. At time I run 20 tabs, video, analysis, and there is no slowing down on this computer. It wakes up from sleep within one second. It has PCIe SSD drive, which makes it even faster than those older generation SSD drives. In addition, this laptop's 8gb ram can be easily upgraded to 16gb. All you have to do is take the screws off and plug in an extra 8gb ram. The other 8gb ram is attached to the motherboard. I am not planning to do it anytime soon because this laptop is already a beast! For those who worry about not having advanced graphics card like other versions; there is no need to worry. The graphics Intel 630 is already a powerful card that will take care of most common tasks. If you are planning on using this laptop for gaming then please consider other versions. Battery: incredible battery. Charges very fast and lasts at least 8 hours. A few days ago I was typing a paper and the battery lasted 12 hours. No kidding. I did have the screen on 75% brightness but still, it lasts very long. Keyboard: best keyboard I have typed on. The only laptop that I would say can beat Lenovo 720 is Macbook Pro, but for people like myself, Macbook does not deliver the performance I need. Mainly because it does not accept software programs I use. Screen: I considered getting the 4K model, but after using at Best Buy for about 20 minutes, I did not see any difference. I also did not want the screen to kill my battery life, so I picked this one. Overall, this laptop has an incredible laptop. I do not see any point in purchasing more expensive model unless your work requires a better screen. I do not use the touchscreen feature, but after trying or for a few times, I can tell that the screen is responsive like my iPad. Very good screen. Touchpad: great touchpad. Very comfortable to use, I have not even clicked with the touchpad in days. It is so easy and Microsoft Touchpad shortcuts make life very easy. Speakers: these are super loud speakers. Quality could have been better, but I am not complaining at all. I love the speakers. Clear and loud. Issues that others spoke about: I read that some users experience fans always running and that this laptop gets loud. This is not an issue. Maybe it was a little bit when I first started using it. But after getting the BIOS update everything became quite. I barely hear this laptop. The only time I hear the fans is when I am running complicated analysis and it only lasts for 15- 25 seconds. So not an issue at all. This laptop is one of the quietest laptops I have ever used. Especially compared to my colleagues Macbook Pro (2015 version) which is so loud and gets so hot that I even suggested my colleague buys external fan pad. It is ridiculous how people think Macbook Pro is the best 15 laptop out there. Other features: this laptop contains basically no bloatware. Just a few pre-installed games that can be easily uninstalled. My only concern is that 256gb software can be filled very easily. I have everything I need on my laptop now and I have 160gb space left. I have an external drive so this is not an issue for me, but if you are the person who has all your data on computer drive then please consider getting the 512gb or 1tb version. Or simply purchase WD Essential Hard Drive 1tb from Best Buy for $49. Much cheaper and makes sense in case if your laptop fails or gets stolen. Agian, if you are a regular use who stays on the laptop all day long and runs complicated programs every now and then, hen this is the laptop for you. Do not hesitate, and please do NOT waste your money on other laptops like the XPS 15 (which starts around $1500 for I7 HQ core), or Macbook Pro (which is starts around $1800). If you are willing to pay that much for a laptop then wait for the ASUS Zenbook Pro, which is supposed to be released in September I strongly recommend this laptop. I spent 3 months conducting research on which laptop I need to buy, and this turned out to be the best option.

it is good but sometime screen shows blank for some time, if we shut down and restart then it turns into normal
