    I love the Solid State Hard Drive - quiet and doesn't heat up. Did I say "FAST" as lightening on start up and multi-tasking? You better believe it, the best decision I have made regarding a new computer. The Best Buy service was great!

  • Good laptop for drawing

    I bought this on a sale along with the Wacom Bamboo Ink stylus for digital drawing and cleanup/editing. The version with 16gb and dedicated graphics would be better, but as I do 2d artwork, this version handles all the art programs I use quite well. One thing to note is that one corner doesn't sit completely flat when used in tablet mode - not a big problem for me where I'm left handed and my left hand will hold that corner down while drawing, but it might be an issue for some. Drawing with the Bamboo Ink stylus is comfortable and feels natural with the soft stylus, although there can be a little jitter when drawing at really slow speeds, par for the course with the type of tech being used for drawing, and nothing that your favorite art program shouldn't be able to manage with smooth strokes, providing your drawing style is to draw really really slow that is.

      This system should be an extremely fast system with its Intel Quad-Core I-7 processor and 8GB of RAM. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. lenovo

    Love the laptop and the capability of flipping the screen. Very fast when turning on but does have the power button in an awkward location that I always hit by accident and end up turninh off my computer.

    This is my fourth laptop I've owned, after 1 Asus and 2 macbooks and it is by far my favorite. Huge memory, sturdy and fast, it has met all of my needs as both of student and teacher.

    I compared many laptops. I went with a SSD instead of the traditional hard drive. Battery life is beyond expectations. Keyboard back light is a great feature too. Purchased the pen separately, great for drawing and making notes.

    Was at first astonished a powerful computer did not have a hdmi port for a large monitor but later learned of the multifunction of the type c USB. and got hooked up to monitor. Overall seems like good computer after 2 weeks of use.
