The Lenovo Yoga 730-15 4K model ships with a vibrant IPS LCD w/LED Backlight screen, with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 (UHD) and a good brightness level of 300 nits. If you have turned off Auto-brightness/adaptive brightness and you have the brightness level at 100-percent and the screen is too dark, check your power management settings to be sure that the power settings you are using are not diming the screen through your power settings. As far as the battery, this model ships with a 3CELL 51.5WH, Lithium Polymer Battery, with a battery level of 8 hours, depending on the work the device is performing. To maximize battery life, first adjust your battery saver settings. You can do this in the control panel, in the power management category on your system. Select a more conservative power management setting to extend battery life. Finally, if the battery life does not improve, a battery reset may help.
