An actually helpful review

Constantly stalking reviews to see which ones where good, what the pros and cons were of each, driving my family crazy of which one I should get. I loved this one as soon as I saw it in store, and the salesman told me this is the one he had since it's fairly new and had a sleek and smooth trackpad (which is one of the things I wanted). I didn't trust him because I don't trust salespeople so I did more research. I watched this laptop like a hawk for awhile to see what kind of sales it would go on. I also had my eye on a few other ones like the HP Spectre or Envy, the Macbook, and an Asus one. Trust me when I saw I stalked reviews for a long time of all of them, weighing how them against each other, seeing them in person at different best buy stores. I did the research before buying. I bought his laptop today, so I'll have to come back and update this maybe in a week. I love it so far. I decided on this laptop mostly because it was a decent price, other lenovo yogas seem to be good laptops, and I wanted something that would last me for grad school. I liked everything about it, but other lenovos said they have a problem with disconnecting from wifi. I haven't had that problem yet (but I read that if you upgrade to the warranty that's like $30 a year, Lenovo will send out a representative to change the wifi card in the laptop right in your home instead of sending it out somewhere for 2+ weeks, so I'll keep that in mind if I end up having that issue) I'll update that soon. Other reviews have also said that there isn't a backlight on this laptop. There is. I'm using it right now. You just have to turn it on. I have had zero problems with this laptop for the few hours I have been using it. I love the trackpad which I stated before. That was a huge thing for me as I hate when laptops have a grainy feel to their trackpads. A lot of the dells have that feel so I didn't consider those. The laptop runs fast, I don't have a problem when I have several tabs open which I'll need for grad school. I think it's a decent price for what the laptop is. I have been using it now for a few hours. The fans haven't even come on yet. It is not hot underneath at all. I didn't immediately charge it when I opened it. So full charge was around 8:20 pm it is now 10:04 and the battery is on 81% so it's not going to be a super great battery, but it'll be pretty decent. I also have my backlight on super low currently because that's the way I like it. I'm honestly a mac fan, but I read things about macbooks that haven't been fixed yet and I didn't want to pay that price for a 15". So I decided on this and so far I'm very pleased. I'm trying to think of things to talk about that I wished were in the reviews I read. The hinges on the computer are nice. It's a little hard to open up the laptop when you have the screen closed, but I'm not worried about that. I haven't tried the notebook version of it yet, but I tried it in store and it was neat. It's pretty lightweight, not cumbersome at all. It does leave a little bit of fingerprint marks which I'm not worried about. I haven't tried the fingerprint scanner to know how good that works, even though some reviews say it doesn't work sometimes. I'll update that too, I'll end this for now, but once things come up I'll add them to the review. I hope this helps someone else who was like me and wanting a big long full review to help.
