The computer would not power on when it arrived
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The computer would not power on upon arrival. Best Buy was great about the return. I will reorder because I like the computer specifics and features. I feel it was just a bad charger or something.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you had an issue with the initial startup of your Lenovo Yoga 730-15. Always be sure to plug the computer in before initial startup. Although the computers are charged at the factory, it is possible that by the time they reach you, the battery could be drained. Second, try to reset the device. This system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the left side of the device, right near the headphone jack on the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. If the problem persists after the factory reset, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

No Audio
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this computer less than 24 hours ago and it has no audio. Online with Tech Support but they are going to have to do multiple reboots and I am in the middle of a 40 hour download of my files from Carbonite. HUGE inconvenience! UGH!! My wife has had a Lenovo 730 for about a year and has been very pleased. Time is money in our business and very frustrated!

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the audio on your Lenovo Yoga 730-15. First, be sure the system audio is turned on. Tap the HotKey in the F1 position on your keyboard. This HotKey toggles the system audio on/off. Then tap the HotKey in the F3 position on your keyboard. This HotKey increased the system audio volume. If this does not fix the audio problem, wait until your download of your files is complete. See if the system audio works after the download of your files. If it doesn't, check to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10 on the computer, then be sure all of the supporting BIOS files and drivers, including those controlling system audio, are up to date. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software installed on the computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

Awful
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this laptop for about six months, and it has broken twice already. The power button and random keys on the keyboard randomly decide to stop working. It has only been a month since I got it fixed the first time, and now it has broken again. Also, customer service at Lenovo is awful, and they will not do anything to help you. Stay away from this computer. Buy literally anything else than this.

In order to keep the program active after the trial period, you will need to purchase a product key. You will not need to download any additional software. Literally the worst computer I've ever purchased
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer seems great at first but has actually been the worst I've ever owned. I have had it less than a year and the touch pad has not worked properly from the beginning, and now it is sporadically failing to charge. Ridiculous, especially at its price. Will not buy another Lenovo.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo Yoga 730-15. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. Runs smoothly, but faulty keys is troubling
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, this Lenovo laptop lasted me 5 years now and is still running smoothly. Although, the annoying thing about it is the location of the speakers which prevents the noise to properly project. And a major thing that has been troubling me for past year or so is that some of the major keys that I use do not work which has prevented me from using the laptops with ease. I love that it is a 2 in 1 laptop but it is too big for me to use as a tablet comfortably.

Great overall laptop for college
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop preforms as expected on the benchmark tests I ran. The build quality is very good at the bottom but feels considerably flexible in the top and between the hinges. Software wise, there are some bloatware you have to deal with and I had to rollback the WiFi drivers in order to stop a disconnection problem I had.

Don't Do It
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Prior to purchasing this laptop I did the research and spoke to a sales rep about this product. It got great reviews from all but has been far from great. The keyboard started malfunctioning first and had to be sent back to the manufacturer to be replaced. Upon receiving the fixed computer, the touch screen wasn't responding anymore. After hours of research, trouble shooting, and talking to a Lenovo rep, it had to be sent in again for repairs; the whole screen needed to be replaced. Each time I had to wipe the computer of all my information for security purposes and was without a computer for a week to two weeks. Now my battery doesn't seem to be holding up and the touch pad doesn't always respond to a tap. In addition, I tried posting a review on the Lenovo website and was unsuccessful. Posts on the blog indicate other people have had their reviews taken down. I purchased this computer a year ago tomorrow and it only gets lightly used. I am not impressed with the product or the company and would not recommend it.

Better Options Available
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wouldn’t recommend this laptop. I’ve had a lot of issues with it. Frequently the battery dies when it is at 50% or higher. Also some keyboard issues. All started happening after the warranty expired. Not much support available. Better options out there considering the price for this.

Dead in 18 Months, After working well
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Impressive 2-1 laptop until two months ago. However, the speed and overall performance continued to decline after the first 10 months. Through the month of February 2020, the screen started flickering, scrambling the image, off and on. By the end of the first week of March 2020, it just died. Shows no power light even after I purchased a new power supply (from BestBuy). Absolutely nothing. This is the 2nd Lenovo I purchased over the years. The first one I had to bring back due to keyboard and touchpad problems. Very disappointing after paying $998 and only getting 18-months out of it. I had to buy a Chromebook from Walmart just to keep working under this COVID-19 confinement. Still need to replace the dead Lenovo - but not sure what to do with this doorstop. Can't keep spending $1000 every 18-months to replace laptops. Having Geek Squad Full Service Support doesn't help in these situations. Not a happy customer.
