POOR PERFORMANCE

I paid a ridiculous amount of money for something that doesn't perform nearly as well as my old HP i5 with 4GB and 256SSD. I am sick that the Best Buy rep recommended this scrap heap. I have had it now for two years and it has been garbage from day one. I would have returned it; however, I attached a phone holder to the cover and couldn't get it off without denting/scratching the laptop. I will NEVER buy another Lenovo. Also, I will NEVER trust the Best Buy reps.

I went into best buy to buy a higher end model but this had better spec's to include the 32G of memory I was wanting and the higher end is only available with 16G. I've been using this now for the past couple of weeks and I'm happy with my purchase as it has performed better than expected.

Windows 11 Problem

Microsoft needs to fix this OS before i ever consider buy an other computer with Windows 11. Since my external mouse would work at the touch screen did, the only plus, but too many negatives to over come for me to keep.

In advance, this is a lengthy response, however we want to give you and other readers of this response as much information as possible to help ensure your issue is resolved should you encounter something similar in the future. First, checking for updates with Intel's ARC control software and within Lenovo Vantage can help resolve performance issues. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 11. Incompatible software will cause the system to not perform properly and impair function. Second, we recommend that if you plan on running a specific software or game that you check the requirements from that software/game publisher's website and reference the specifications of the computer you are considering to verify its compatibility before you purchase any device.

Good looking 2560x1600 16" touchscreen display - will drive 2 external monitors (need docking station with HDMI port for 2nd external monitor). Login with fingerprint or facial recognition. Camera has privacy cover. OK battery life. Good feeling keyboard and trackpad. Note: probably not the best laptop for gaming but otherwise it's a great laptop.
